    INFORMATION AND ACTIVITIES AT COLMAR TROPICALE

    1. JAPANESE VILLAGE

    Located 3500 feet above sea level, The Japanese Village is the first of its kind outside Japan. The
    garden was designed by renowned Japanese architect, Kaio Ariizumi and built by a team of 22 skilled
    craftsmen from Japan. A tranquil and relaxing retreat, this garden is enclosed within a lush tropical
    rainforest and features attraction such as Japanese Tea House, Tatami Spa, Botanical Garden, Ryo Zan
    Tei Japanese Restaurant and Ume Tatami Suite. Guest can choose to participate in the Tea Ceremony (4
    sessions daily) where one will learn a little more about the Japanese culture or to rent a kimono for
    picture or two.

    2. BOTANICAL GARDEN

    A truly magnificent journey to discover the splendor of botanic. With educational trail or night walks,
    guest can grasp the reality of the various flora and fauna’s habitation and information. A perfect
    hideaway to learn the various hybrids of plants, flowers as well as herbs and their usage in our daily
    lives. Rare plants such as Tiger Orchid which is the largest orchid in Malaysia and the ever popular
    Tongkat Ali all made available to participants in this enclave reservation.

    3. ORGANIC FARM

    Organic farming is the form of agriculture that relies on technique such as crop rotation, green manure,
    compost and biological pest control to maintain soil productivity and control pests on a farm. Colmar
    Tropicale has been committed to good environmental practice since its beginning, such as organic
    garden practices which leads to procuding high quality and authentic organic fruits and vegetables.

    4. MINI ANIMAL PARK

    A fun family Mini Animal Park which is houses over 200 rabbits from various species. Guest can cosset
    themselves by cuddling and feeding these adorable creatures in an open area where they freely roam.
    Located in the same area is a deer sanctuary showcasing the spotted deer and Timorensis Deers
    which were bought in from Holland and Sulawesi, Indonesia
    Guest can have the opportunity to pet and feed these lovely animals as weel as learn a thing or two
    about their habitats. This quaint and charming park also offers donkey riders for children assisted by our
    guides.

    5. HORSE TRAILS

    Saddle up and gallop away with our selected fine horse whilst accompanied by professional trained
    leaders through various terrains, hills and forest. Our well chosen breed of horse includes the ever
    popular Quarter horse, Australian stock, unique Arab – Draft Cross, Appaloosa, Standard Bred,
    Argentie Criollo and the special Palomino Sisters. Berjaya Hills Horse Trails is a registered
    Malaysian and British Riding Centre, sanctioned by Malaysian Equine Council and managed by
    professional International Coach as well as experienced horse trainers. There is an amusement of
    package from lead rides, escorted outride to exclusive riding camps for children and adults. Guest are
    also offered progressive horse riding lessons, horse handling and management course and corporate
    group dynamic workshops.
