    Dear Mr. Ducut,

    I am writing this letter to show my intent of applying for my son, Ridge B. Silva, grade 8 student, to be
    under the ESC scholarship. To start it is such a great privilege for my son to be part of your academe.

    In line with this, the undersigned is humbly asking for your good office for a chance to apply for a
    scholarship program under the ESC program. The support for the continuance of his studies will be a big
    help to my family especially to our financial situation. My husband is a storekeeper and I’m a housewife,
    we are depending of my husband salary. Being a student in HCI is a great honor and I know this situation
    will help my son to achieve his goals.

    Rest assured that he will be very responsible, and will set his best foot forward in any given task. Your
    approval will surely be a great help and a noble blessing indeed.

    In behalf of my family we are thankful having this grant.
