1. The premise is build up with local municipal by-laws.

2. The building is located at the heart of Bhopal city. Bus Stand, Railway Station is
at walking distance. Well-maintained Medicine shop within premises.

3. The floor area for the hospital is 15,000 sq. ft. Bathroom/ Lavatory is as per
specification and with a First Class RCC construction.

4. The building is periodically disinfected.

5. On each floor, nurses’ duty room is available for the duties.

6. A large separate Labor Room and 2 separate OT one for Major & one for
Minor Surgery is available.

7. Double sewage line is treated chemically from time to time.

8. The hospital has its own source of Water supply (Deep Tube –well).

9. The wastewater is treated in line with the guidelines of the Pollution Control
Board and other hazardous waste material is also treated and sent to
incinerator.

MAYTRI PARENT CARE: A complete floor dedicated for the care of parent from age 60 and

CARDIAC MONITORS (Schiller)

1. Among various electronic gadgets for monitoring vital signs, cardiac monitor
showing digital display of heart rate (along with audible beep) or an electronic
cardio graphic configuration on an oscilloscope or both, is most useful.
2. Also indicate Oxygen level (Spo2), Blood pressure, Respiratory rate.
3. Generally an apneic attack is followed by bradycardia within 30 seconds so that
heart rate monitor (with an alarm set at heart rate of less than 80 per minute) can
be used with an advantage over apnea monitor.
4. They are ideal to monitor high risks infants and are especially useful during
prolonged procedures such as exchange blood transfusion and surgery.

In cases of cardiac arrest defibrillator is used to give current in Jules for
cardiac activity as well as ECG recorder in the same.

1. Ventilators are sophisticated electronic mini air pumps required in some babies
with respiratory problem.
2. Ventilators required some basic facilities such as skilled nurses and residents,
blood gas analyses, monitoring devices, microchemistry and portable x-rays etc.
Centralized supply of oxygen and purified air is mandatory.
3. Two types of intermittent positive pressure ventilators, they are either pressure
generator or flow generator.
4. On the basis of their built in control principles for termination of inspiratory phase,
the ventilator may be pressure cycled, volume cycled or time cycled.
5. The essential accessories like humidifier, probe for recording temperature of air-
oxygen mixture, air compressor and infusion pump etc.
