prone to flash floods and land-slides due to the location of elevated places and nearby river.

Flash-floods can be caused by a number of things, but is most often due to extremely heavy

rainfall from typhoons and thunderstorms.

To prevent flash-floods, planting trees is necessary as trees are one of the significant

sources of life on earth. It is essential as it offers a wide range of benefits to the environment.

However, with the increase in urbanisation, there has been large-scale deforestation which has

affected all living things. Thus, it is important to understand the benefits of planting trees.

Furthermore, the community plays a significant role in our greening, and tree management work.

It does not only improve the environment but lessens energy costs, enhances quality of life,

improves our health and helps fight global warming. Planting more trees is a cost-effective way

to improve neighborhood and community. Bringing together a group of people to volunteer to

help make a greener and safe environment will make everyone’s lives better and save our dying

earth.
