    To the newlyweds…

    First of all, thank you for choosing me as one of your Ninongs.

    Congratulations for finally “sealing the deal” of your partnership. I say


    partnership because that is what marriage should be. “Kay ang mag-
    partner, walang iwanan.” Each of you will have to commit to exert
    effort to make this union work. Remember that there is no fixed
    formula for marriage.

    You have been together for quite a while, you are already blessed with
    two children, so you already know the quirks and peculiarities of the
    other. But that should not stop you from re-discovering each other.
    Remember that marriage brings a new flavour, a new colour to your
    relationship.

    Lastly, and most importantly, nurture the family that you now have,
    and the additional family members that will come, with the love that
    you both have for each other, and the love that emanates from the
    Almighty God. With God in the center of your marriage, “kakayanin
    ninyo ang lahat”.

    P.S.

    Man, you may forget everything that I’ve just said, but aside from
    placing God in the center of your marriage, this one you should
    remember. A HAPPY WIFE, IS A HAPPY LIFE.
