    HEISLER LID PLACERS & CLOSERS

    The HEISLER Lid Placers and Closers are designed to dispense, position and seal lids on filled
    containers. Our Lid Placers and Closers are available in models for plastic and metal containers,
    such as: Pails, Trays, Bins, Round, Cans, Buckets, Totes, Square, Tubs, Crates, Oval,
    Rectangular, Kits.

    These machines come in fixed or adjustable models. For lids that require orienting, the HEISLER
    Lid Placer can be equipped to orient a spout in relation to the handle.

    Our Lid Placers can dispense up to 40 lids per minute. We have semi-automatic to fully
    automatic models available. Closer options include roller, traversing press, crimping, and screw-

    At the 2018 Pack Expo Show in Chicago, we will be featuring our P100 Lid Placer with a new
    reduced footprint, an optional self- contained pail and lid orientation system, and air spring
    closer height compensator. Be sure to stop by our Booth #S-3725 and check it out in action.

    So how does a HEISLER Lid Placer operate? For Small Container, Standard, and Large Container
    models, stacks of lids are placed and fed along a low level infeed conveyor to an elevator where
    they are lifted to the separating mechanism and fed down a chute above the pail/product
    conveyor. Lids are placed on the pails as they pass under the chute and move to the closer
    where metal lids are crimped and plastic pails are compressed or screwed for secure closure.
    For those just starting to get into automation, we offer an E SERIES LID PLACER. It offers the
    same outstanding and quality and durability as our standard machines but is geared to those
    users whose line speeds are usually not more than 10 containers/ minutes. The lids are placed
    in the vertical hopper. The lids feed down into the separating rings that release one lid at a
    time onto the lid chute. The lid chute positions the lid for dispensing onto the container as it
    passes below the chute.

    Our Lid Closers come in semi-automatic, stand alone, and bolt-on models.

    Presses.

    Our P300 Manual Lid Press, which securely compresses plastic lids onto pails, including DOT
    specified pails.

    Our P300-MAH, Motorized Adjustable Head, performs the manual operation of securing a
    press on style plastic lid onto a pail. It is adjustable to accommodate 3-7 gallon pails using a
    pneumatically motorized head.

    Our P300-ALH Adjustable Line Height Press securely seals lids onto a variety of containers using
    a press plate and is adjustable to different line and pail heights

    Our Semi-Automatic lid presses come in models for both plastic and metal containers. The way
    our Lid Presses work is a lid is placed on the container, which has been manually positioned
    under the press plate or crimper. Two buttons are then pressed simultaneously and a
    pneumatic cylinder activates the press plate or the crimper to close the container. Releasing
    one or both of the buttons, shifts the flow, causing the cylinder to retract.

    Available options are stainless steel, castors, conveyor, stand, and the ability to close both
    plastic and metal lids on one machine.
