CHAPTER -1
INTRODUCTION
SHRI SAI BHAKT MANDAL 2010 –
REGD
Shri Sai BhaktMadal 2010, is the social
organization that has been established in
January 2010. Its foundation is based on Lord
“Sai Baba” and his preaching. That the society
should be always stay in benevolence, every
needy may always get utmost aid,
environment protection should get the top
most priority, society gets better and animal
care should be done in a step ahead way and
every part of nature and society should be
preserved.
ORGANIZATION
PROFILE
It is a social organization, that helps other
NGOs/Organizations to run, by giving them
the donation in the form of goods like day to
day items.
Like even I went to 3 organizations through
them for the donations of the goods. They sent
me first to “D.A.V.O Old Age Home”, for the
donation and to help the coordinators of that
organization. We donated pulses, rice, flour,
edible oils etc.
Then we went to “Home Sweet Home”, where
the orphan girls reside and children from the
roadside come for day-boarding. We taught
students over their, performed several fun
activities with them and donated the daily
routine items that were required.
Lastly, we went to “Sanjay Gandhi Animal
Care”, there we fed the animals with their
food, donated animals food and helped the
coordinators of animal care.

 We took feedback on the work done
during the internship from our mentor.
Day 12: 5th January 2020

Went to Organization, for the collection of the

certificate.

My Learnings

 Internship at NGO has taught me various

things like what actually people think about
sending their children to schools and what
were the issues they faced because of which
they couldn’t send their children to schools
while they wished to do so.
 How an NGO raises funds from different
sources where not much companies are
present and rely only on their personal
sources and contacts.
 How fundraising is done for the welfare of
the people for which an NGO works.
Short comings of the CSR company
 They are currently operating only in
West Delhi region.
 Sources of funds for “Shri Sai Bhakt
Mandal” are limited only to their
personal contacts and relationships
due to absence of large companies
and groups in the area which makes
them sometimes face shortage of
funds.
 There is also a lack of awareness
among the people in the region
about the existence of“Shri Sai
Bhakt Mandal”.

Suggestions to improve
their CSR initiatives.
Shri Sai Bhakt Mandal can work on
increasing the awareness among people about
their existence in the region so that more and
more people can approach them to contribute
in their initiatives as well as more poor people
can get benefitted from their initiatives. can
work on increasing the awareness among
people about their existence in the region so
that more and more people can approach them
to contribute in their initiatives as well as
more poor people can get benefitted from their
initiatives.

Would you suggest any changes or new

items of CSR Spent and if so which one
of the CSR activities would you replace
and why?
According to me they are providing more
facilities to Dog NGOs and less to old age
home and Dog NGO is much cleaner than
the old ag home so according to me they
should give more attention towards the old
age home because people give less
donation to those NGOs. Also, a lot of
awareness about the NGO should also be
created, through social media.

CHAPTER – 3
DESIGNING A
CSR MODEL
A working model of CSR initiative
which your college can pursue
without academic loss:

CSR at my college NDIM can pursue social

model of CSR which will encourages and
propels students to imbibe the qualities of
enlightened leadership and thereby instils in
them a level of trust and confidence about
themselves and the community without any
academic loss. The values of social
responsibility qualities, the students imbibe
are:
  Genuine respect for others and their points
of view
  The ability to be sensitive to draw a line
when making profits and contributing
towards social investment
  Strong personal integrity and reaching out
to those whose lives they can touch and
make a difference
Would you like to be a CSR
champion in your organization in
future?
Yes, I will love to be a CSR champion in my
organization because
 Charitable and social engagement efforts
connect employees to their work and can
achieve a more engaged workforce. When
you succeed in making that connection and
maintaining it, that’s truly championship-
level CSR. In fact, it's proven and said to
be believed that participation in charitable
events made employees stress free. These
efforts can lend a fulfilling sense of
purpose to people’s’ jobs, which
increases employee engagement.
 Genuine CSR efforts also improve public
image of a company. However, it doesn’t
come immediately and it doesn’t come
without investment and funding. In a
survey by Cone, 78% of respondents want
companies to address important social
justice issues. It’s important that
companies not only respond to these issues
but also let the public know that they are
taking action on them. Through robust
social media and PR, this is possible. Once
you do, it begins to pay off; 87% of
consumers would purchase a product
because a company advocated for an issue
they care about. That’s getting your brand
out there in a positive way.
 Another bonus that comes from a company
of CSR champions is brand differentiation.
Companies who invest heavily in CSR
stand out from their competitors who
don’t, which matters to consumers.
 In fact, 76% of consumers will refuse to
purchase a company’s products or services
upon learning it supported an issue
contrary to their beliefs. If you need to
raise prices somewhat to cover your CSR
initiatives, customers will understand and
still be more than willing to purchase your
product.
 Finally, a championship CSR program
encourages innovation. When you truly
make a commitment to CSR, it forces you
to look at your company through a
different lens. Inefficient practices that
might have been second nature come
under scrutiny and you start looking for
ways to improve.Corporate Social
Responsibility makes both the world and
your workplace a better place to be.
Unfortunately, that can be difficult to
achieve alone. Speak with a CyberGrants
expert to see how the combined support of
our platform and strategic expertise can
help your company rise to CSR
championship status.
You as a great human being would like to lead which
Social causes while a student at NDIM. Please
elaborate the activity that you would like to lead and
go back to your hometown to Champion ?

1. Green india
Little drops of water, little grains of
sand, Make the mighty ocean and
the pleasant land... So the little
minutes, humble though they
be, Make the mighty ages of
eternity.
During my studentship at NDIM i
would initiate and make sure that
every student of my batch plants 5
trees on their birthday as a
responsibility and gift to the nature.
Not only planting them but also
taking regular care and for this they
can choose a place where they visit
almost daily, it can be either near
the college or near their homes.

By doing so we can plant at least

1000 trees in a year, estimating the
number of students to be nearly
200.

My hometown is the same city

where I live presently, I will make
sure to aware and to convince my
family members, relatives, friends,
and my neighborhood to do the
same.

2. Women's safety
For this, i would take up the
initiative to provide a private college
bus for all the female students as
well as the female staff to pick and
drop them from and to the nearest
bus stands and metro stations and
nearest landmarks of the college
can make a huge difference and
ensure the safety of the people who
are a part of the college.

We can maintain a minimal fee to

be charged which proves to be
cheaper for them when compared to
the other public transport, this will
help in fulfillment of 2 things.
One will be the saving of personal
funds per head. Second, the basic
cost required for providing the
facility and and maintaining it time
to time will be covered.
Along with this awareness regarding
mobile applications for women's
safety should be installed in every
individual's cell phone.
Since my hometown is the same
city where I live presently, I will
make sure to aware my near and
dear ones and all the people in my
locality to use public transport.
And ask them to download the
mobile application for women's
safety to be more secure and safe.
