Sales Virtual Job Preview Overview Guide

When applying to a Sales role at Procter & Gamble, you may be asked to complete the Sales Virtual
Job Preview. Most applicants find it requires about 60 minutes to complete this assessment. There
is no time limit for the exercises in the assessment, but you are encouraged to work quickly. After
beginning the assessment, you may choose to exit and continue at a later time by reusing the link
that was previously provided to you.
The Sales Virtual Job Preview will help P&G learn more about your Sales-related knowledge, skills,
and experience. This information will be used to evaluate how well your particular qualifications and
abilities meet the specific criteria required for successfully performing the job for which you applied.
If you are asked to complete the Sales Virtual Job Preview, it is important to note the following:
1. For most exercises in the assessment, once you answer a question you will not be able to go
back to change your responses to any previous questions.
2. As you progress through the assessment, it is important to only use the navigation arrows
provided on each page. Do not use the browser options Next, Back, or Refresh to navigate.
These options are not designed to work with this assessment and will cause an error if used.
3. We recommend that you have a calculator and scratch paper available to use during the
assessment.
4. It is important that you complete this assessment on your own and without any help from
others. If you continue beyond this step of the process, we may verify your capability to solve
these types of problems under supervised conditions.
5. The assessment contains audio; however, all audio content is also provided in the text on
each page of the assessment.
6. The test requires sustained concentration. If you need special accommodations for this testing
process, please submit your request here. If you feel you may need an accommodation to

Realistic Job Preview
The first part of the assessment includes a realistic job preview. During this section you will be
presented with information about P&G and the Sales role. You will not be asked to respond to any
questions in this section.

Exercise #1: Work with Customers and Colleagues
This exercise contains 9 questions and takes approximately 12 minutes to complete.
During this exercise, you’ll play the part of a Sales team member and tell us how you would respond
to a variety of situations. These situations will be sent to you in the form of emails and will cover
topics including: project challenges, customer requests, and competing deadlines.

Exercise #2: Analyze your Business
This exercise contains 8 questions and takes approximately 12 minutes to complete.
During this exercise, you’ll play the role of a Sales team member handling the Personal Care category
at Benchmark Stores, a large regional supermarket. You’ll use a variety of reports to answer questions
from your manager on sales trends, competitor performance, and opportunities to improve your
results at this store.

Exercise #3: Manage Your Week
This exercise contains 2 situation sets and takes approximately 12 minutes to complete.
During this exercise, you will get a chance to review situations that Sales employees routinely face
and organize your calendar based on how quickly you need to accomplish each one.

Exercise #4: What Drives You
This exercise contains 25 questions and takes approximately 3 minutes to complete.
During this exercise, you will get a chance to tell us about the type of work environment that
motivates and inspires you. You will be presented with sets of two statements at a time and will
select the statement that best reflects what you prefer in your job.

This exercise contains 23 questions and takes approximately 3 minutes to complete.
During this exercise, you will get a chance to tell us about the background and work experiences that
have shaped who you are. You will be presented with a series of questions about your work history.

This exercise contains 23 questions and takes approximately 3 minutes to complete.
During this exercise, you will get a chance to tell us about your preferred style and approach to work.
You will be presented with a series of statements and will compare the statements to decide which
is most like you.
