Nature of educational technology (Sandeep Sir/11feb 2020).

1. Evaluation of the concept of education technology.

2. Existing position n latest concepts.
3. Distinction from the related concept.

Evaluation:- The earlier concept of education technology was believed to the use of audio visual aids like charts,
models, maps, specimens and concrete materials. With the advancement of physical science and consequently electronic
revolution than came era of sophisticated software and hardware materials like projectors(Overhead), tap recorders,
radio and television.
As a result education technology was taken in terms of sophisticated instruments and equipment used for presenting
instructional materials.
Than came the age of mass media. It resulted massive communication revolution of instructional purposes. Utilisation
of radio television teletext and computers assist instruction for individualised learning and teaching learning process.

Meaning and nature of instructional technology ( Sandeep Sir/12 Feb2020).

Introduction:-
• Use of technology for development of instruction.
• To make knowledge transformation effective and in efficient process.
• Instructional technology is the branch of education concerned with the specific study of instructional design
and development.
• The main purpose of instructional designers is to create engaging an effective learning experiences.
• It’s a specific technology field that deals with creating resources for learning.

derived from behavioural and physical sciences concepts and other knowledge to the solution of instructional problems.

Sharma 1989:- Defined instructional technology as a network techniques and devices employed to accomplish certain
defined sets of learning objectives.

Nature and scope:-

• It’s basis is science.
• It’s study on the effect of science and technology on education.
• It’s a continuous progressive and effects producing methods.
• It developers new concept like program learning micro teaching stimulative teaching. video tape projectors and
videography.
• It can be used successfully in teaching and instructional system.
• It can not replaced teachers.
