Soccer
The most common sport activity in the world, it`s strategy game played by all
.genders, colors and Nationality
.Uncountable numbers of people between fans and players all over the world
Soccer players today are the most people gaining money of their career, and this
:is some examples of the annual salary for some players
.Lionel Messi 40M Euro-
.Cristiano Ronaldo 30M Euro-
.Neymar 36.8M Euro-
Large numbers are being paid for professional players and mangers, on the other
hand, fans pay for TV channels and tickets in stadiums to watch their favorite
.sport
Soccer like Canadian and American people say, is an exciting sport played with a
ball between two teams and every team have 11 players on the ground. Except
goalkeepers, every player in the match can use any part of his body to move the
ball, goalkeepers can use their hand to catch the ball in their penalty area, When
the ball goes out of play and cross the line of the stadium ground, one player
from the side which did not put the ball out of play can throw the ball back into
play using their hands, while player is doing this throw, he must keep himself of
the pitch and don’t crossing the line and his hands behind his head on the ball
.until he throw it
The full time of the match is 90 minutes divided into two parts equally, the object
of these nineteen minutes is scoring the biggest number of goals and prevent the
.other team of scoring goals
Many stories are talking about the origin country of this sport, some of them say
that the origin of it is China, and others say Britain, anyway, history is so
.complicated and we are talking about soccer today not history
Most of fans of this soccer consider European leagues and championships as the
most of all, so that, Europe has human and financial resources to make
everything perfect. The big tournaments in Europe are The Italian Serie A,
Premier League in Britain, La Liga in Spain, Bundsnliga in Germany and Ligue 1
.in France, So, these tournaments are the real focus of most soccer fans
In my opinion, the real reason behind this success of European soccer is FIFA
which is biggest organization
Soccer Equipment

When soccer started it`s activity, it seems that all a team needed was a ball to
kick around and shoes that protected. That's changed. Soccer today have large
group of equipment that that players, coach and referee need like shin guards,
goalie equipment, soccer referee equipment, soccer kit bag, and soccer training
equipment, such as flags, cones, agility ladders, and slalom poles. All this
equipment used for soccer can be found with less prices at Epic Sports.
The Ball
In the 19th century, soccer balls began to be manufactured out of rubber. Charles
Goodyear created the first vulcanized rubber soccer ball in 1855. Until that time,
soccer players had to suffered so much . In 1862, H.J. Lindon created the first
inflatable rubber bladder, and that's what made it easier to control and kick it
without destroying its outer shape
Shoes
Soccer shoes have their importance for many reasons like protecting player feet
or making his steps easier on the grass of stadium or kicking accuracy, so,
finding the perfect shoes is so important for the player to complete his equipment
package.
For the players current shoes, they're made of leather from the outside, and their
design depends on the player's foot being perfectly placed on the grass, so we if
we look under the shoe we will see protrusions It keeps the shoes steady and
keeps the player from slipping
Shin Guards
If the player want to complete his equipment package, for sure he have to wear
this equipment during matches, to protect his leg from any danger while training
or matches to prevent any Possible injury.
Socks
The main rule of socks is preventing the shin guards form moving. They
shouldn`t slip down because that is affect the player moves
So, not any socks can be used for soccer player
Goalkeeper Equipment:
Gloves
For sure, the main rule of it preventing injury but there is another rule for it which
is making ball control easier because as we know ball is not small enough to deal
with it only by hands
Goalkeeper gloves should be comfortable, and don’t affect on his work in
negative way.
Goalkeeper Uniforms:
Shirt
As any player, goalkeepers wear shirts like them too but they are colored with
different color from the rest of team
Shorts
Goalkeeper shorts are longer in compare with the teammates.
Training Equipment
Training equipment for the professional team is important, the soccer ball
machine, corner flags, cones, hurdles, balls, and nets designed to improve pace
and agility.
Marker Cones
They are important more than you imagine and they play big role in training to
improve the abilities of passing, dribbling.
Soccer Kit Bag
Soccer equipment includes the soccer kit bag. They're not cheap as you think, at
the same time, football players need this bag to have their equipment easy to
access. So, it is necessary for professional teams. Nike offers a popular design
at a reasonable price.
Referee Equipment
Just imaging soccer without referee. That’s unfair and create a lot of doubt in
people minds.
The referee was added to prevent any unwanted thing could happen out of
soccer rules.
A referee's main duty is to enforce the Laws of the Game.
Soccer referee equipment includes a whistle, watch, and of course a uniform.
The Whistle
Before using whistle, referees used handkerchief in the air to players. It wasn't
until the 1870s with the production of the pea whistle by the ACME Whistle
Company that soccer referees began to signal players using a high-pitched
device. It is thought that the first whistle was used in a match between
Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Norfolk, in 1878.
And only recently added to the Laws of the Game, whistles today are used to
signal the start, stop, or delay of play. That, and verbal and body communication,
are important tools of any good soccer referee.
The Uniform
On the first days, a person donning black and white from head to heal would
have most likely been a referee, simply known as "man in black". But now
everything changed. Million dollars paid and big clothes companies are
sponsoring players and teams.
So, design now is so important.

Soccer Warm-Up and Stretching

A huge soccer warm-up is important to make the body prepared for
activity and focus the mind for what lies ahead. As an illustration, the
benefits of warming up include making the muscles stretched enough and
prevent muscles issues, make player involved in practice, increase the
range of motion, Activate the cardiovascular and respiratory systems.
There is a lot of great motions that trainers can use in dynamic warm-ups
like forward jogging, backward jogging, side shuffles, high knees, leap
frog, high kicks, butt kickers, inside touches.

when players have finish dynamic motions, relay races can be used to
prepare players even further. In addition, they are so essential for players
to work on pace, agility, and heart rate.
Anyway, we can say that soccer players enjoy in these races and enjoy
tag games too, simply, tag games are so engaging, they help to provide a
fun and competitive environment between players.
There is another thing that players like too, which is play an invasion
game. Equally fun is the game treasure hunters which is played with four
teams.
Warm up can also give players an opportunity for players to practice a lot
of technical skills like dribbling. After all, coaches only have a limited amount of
time with their teams. For this, incorporating technical skills into warm-ups is a
great way to speed up player development.

A soccer dribbling routine can improve players skills on the ball. Coupled with

dynamic motions, this activity can be used as a progressive soccer warm-up.

And like dribbling, passing is a very easy skill to do into warm-ups. Furthermore,
passing warm-ups are good for players to practice moving the ball and between
teammates

Soccer Basic Skills:

Before everything soccer players need to know the basic soccer skills and
improve it to become professional players because without these skills, players
are not players. here we will point some of these skills

-Dribbling and Ball Control:

First of all, dribbling is the skill of moving the ball around the field by feet like
what great players such as Ronaldo and Messi do in matches, for sure he is the
best example now.

Getting into the true art of dribbling will allow players to not only improve
his soccer skills, but he'll be able to score more goals and make more assists
and chances to score.

The basic thing of dribbling is keeping the ball as close to the foot as possible in
order to save control of the ball, using the right part of the feet to contact the ball
in order to maintain balance of the player body.

Keeping the ball close to the feet during this process is important in order to keep
it from being intercepted by a player of the other team, to be able to change
move quickly and to take the opportunity to pass or shoot. The key to do this and
keep the ball close is to contact with it carefully, using the less amount of
strength is the main idea to do keep the ball moving in the wanted direction. This
is big challenge when player is moving at top speed, but it can be done. When
dribbling the ball while running fast, the ball should be contacted by the instep
gently to the top and behind the main joint of either the big or the little

When the player is only using some parts of his feet to dribble while running, he
will control his speed and balance. While player is doing that, he must be careful
of falling or losing the ball. Any part of either foot may be used in dribbling,
however, as long as it is appropriate to the purpose at hand and allows the player
to be properly balanced for the next move. The insides and outsides of the foot
can be used to move the ball straight ahead or indirectly forward. The sole of the
foot may be used to stop the ball, push it forward, pull it backward or roll it to
either side. The instep may be used, by turning the leg and ankle, to “chop” the
ball obliquely backward. The instep and toe may also be used to move the ball
forward or to flick it up. The heel is important when the player want to move the
ball backwards.

In short, good dribbling is wanted skill for every player, because it helps the
player to be in better passion for shooting or passing in many cases. Good
dribblers must use their skills for the team benefits not for the show.

-Passing

The purpose of this process is to keep possession of the ball by moving it on the
field between teammates with the objective of advancing it up the playing field.
This gives the team more chances on the pitch because in this situation, players
can create chances to score goals and make the opposite team in danger, and
prevent the other team from creating chances to score.

Passing is important for all players in the team even goalkeeper must know how
to pass accuracy, in order to build perfect attack on the other team. Above all of
that without passing the team will lose control easily because keeping the ball
with one player is impossible. So, improving this skill is so important between
players.

Quick passes make the defense of the opposite team can`t focus enough on the
match and fear them of losing it.

There are many different kinds of passes are used in the recent soccer, such as
the push pass, chip pass, outside of the foot pass, and instep pass. The first type
of soccer pass that players learn is the direct pass. This is when the ball directly
is directly passed to a teammate. A strong firm pass directly at the player's feet is
best. You want to make it in the best way for your mate to handle, but not take
too long to get there.

Passing into space is an important concept in making passes in soccer. This is

when the players pass the ball to an area where a teammate is running. player
must guess both the direction and speed of your. And to do that perfectly players
must train more to know each other and this is key to good passes into space.

Now we will talk about more complex passing which is wall passing. In this case
the wall is not normal wall, the wall is the teammate. In wall pass you pass the
ball to a teammate who quickly passes the ball back to you into open space. This
is a difficult maneuver and takes a lot of practice, but the results will be great on
anyone who do it.

Sometimes player will have the chance to get the ball up the field quickly to an
open teammate. A long pass can be done. On a long pass player kick the ball
differently than with other shorter passes. player use an instep kick where he
kicks the soccer ball with his instep or on the shoelaces. To do this he plants his
non-kicking foot a few inches from the ball. Then, with his kicking leg swinging
back and bending at the knee, and he snap his foot forward with his toe pointed
down and kick the ball with the instep of his foot.

Player sometimes will need to pass the ball backward. This is done all the time in
professional soccer. There is nothing wrong with passing the ball back in order to
get his offense set up and maintain control of the ball.

Turning:

In soccer, there’s an art to turning and cutting with the ball. It’s all about timing
and using the body to protect the ball. It’s also about being aware of
surroundings players on the field, knowing if there’s a defender behind or coming
from the side and knowing where teammates are and what runs they are making.
It’s all about knowing what player want to do with the soccer ball before he
receives it. Receiving and turning is a way that every player must have in their
locker. The sooner they are taught this ability the better; that is why trainer focus
here on young players.

One of the most famous turns in the history is Cruyff turn. the Cruyff turn is a
stylish soccer moves turn which was used many times in matches by Johan
Cruyff. This turn is used often in the recent matches due it being a moderately
easy to master and allows the player to change direction fast.

To do this turn you have to follow these steps:

1 – place your standing foot beside the ball with your body leaning around the
ball

2 – your non-standing foot must to step over the ball without touching the ground

3 – using the inside of your foot, push the ball backwards

4 – this time (unlike the drag-back turn) your body will turn round the other way
(toward standing foot) so you are facing the opposite direction

Tip – once again, this becomes easy when you do it fast and it is important you
have good balance

Heading:

Heading in soccer is more important than people think, it is not only important for
attackers, even goalkeeper sometime must use his head. It is main role for
defensive players to clear balls from the back, midfielders to win critical battles in
the middle of the field, and attackers to score goals. Most coaches don’t say about
proper technique and don’t give players enough training to heading the ball.

Players that head the ball in a good way score goals more than others, clear the
ball, and help their teammates win possession in the midfield.

Some players face problems to head the ball and that’s so common thing. You’d
be wondered at how many advanced players admit that they avoid headers when
possible. If you felt that you fear to head the ball, change your thinking. heading
training will decrease fear by the time. You shouldn’t let fear stop you. You
have to be aware of this problem and try to have to be courageous enough
to beat this fear.

Your ability to head the ball may be the deciding factor that can win and lose
matches. soccer players always suffer from any player good in heading and
coaches put a lot of players to prevent him from doing his best skill . As soon as
the ball is above every player head, either team should try to get control of it.
When a player waits for the ball to hit the ground, he runs the potential risk of
losing the ball, or possibly conceding a goal. There so many uses for heading in
recent soccer like scoring, saving clearing passing.

Heading needs to be given more and more of work as it will prove extremely
valuable throughout any soccer career. Heading is not easy skill and players
should spend much time practicing to make it like any other skill

Sometimes the match turn into a war so, the player has to use all he can to do
the best performance in the match. Some players put their heads in places other
players don’t put their feet in, that’s not only brave, that’s really crazy thing, the
most of those players are defenders or goalkeepers, and for sure, that may hurt
their heads but, they really don’t care about that

On the other side there are fears that regular heading of a ball increases the
danger of soccer players developing dementia, and lose their life from the
disease. A soccer weighs almost half a kilogram, and researchers have
calculated that it can hurt a player's head at speeds up 127 km/h

Goalkeeping:

In the past any player on the pitch could handle the ball and because there was
no standard size for goals, goalkeepers didn’t even exist as a dedicated role
within the team. And the closest player to the goal was doing this role instead of
goalkeeper.

In my opinion, goalkeeper is the most important player in the team, and every
team should have perfect one for many reasons, any mistake that goalkeeper do
will cost his team the match, this player is under pressure more than any of his
teammates. Goalkeeping is different, and everyone say that goal keepers are
crazy but that’s just saying

Nowadays, it's essential role and crucial in both classic and modern ways.
Stopping shots and reflexes was always, but new dynamics—such as
distribution, sweeping up, aggressive positioning and improved athleticism—
reign supreme as well
Goalkeeper is often the oldest player at the team, this point gives him leader role
above his main role. His leading role is giving the other players like defenders
more enthusiasm during the match.

When we talk about goalkeeping, length is so important factor to be perfect

goalie, because there is many cases and matches showed us short goalkeepers
are suffering of high balls.

if we searched for their lengths, we will see the most of them are taller than 185
cm and not shorter than 180, anyway, length is not the only essential factor,
strong hands are so recommended too to stop any shoot that goalie face in the
match.

In short. There are so many incredible saves in the history made every single fan
talk about it, so, when you talk about goalkeepers be aware of this player effect
on the team and how much he is important to keep his team in the much,
because he is not a man standing between three woods.
