JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:(OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE )

132KV Substation having 15MVA EMCO TRANSFORMER, 132KV CROMPTON MAKE SF6 Breaker,
145KV ELPRO Isolators, Surge Arrestors, 132KV Current Transformers, Potential Transformers and
132KV Control Panel with Digital ALSTOM Make MICOM Series Protection Relays.

90KV,180V DC High Current PLC Based Thyristor Rectifier ABB Make with 21MVA EMCO Transformer
for Membrane Electrolysers. Working experience in Testing, Commissioning and Operation and
Maintenance of ABB  High power Rectifier Transformer system of rating 11KV/474 V, 84 thyristors. The
whole system is controlled by PEC 800(Power electronic controller ABB) which supervises all alarms
and trippings in the System and this rectifier System is having the DM water cooling system supplied  by
M/S ALFA LAVAL INDIA PVT LTD.

60KA,150V DC High Current MITSUBISHI Diode Rectifiers with 2Nos 6MVA MB Transformers, On
Load Tap Changers and Saturable Reactor for Mercury Cells.

Captive Power Plant of 25MW with ABB Alternator and ABB Make Digital Relays, PLC, Synchronisation
Panel, 11KV SF6 Breaker Panels, PCC, MCC, Battery Chargers, NGR, UPS and 320KVA DG Set for
Emergency Power Backup.

6MW WARTSILA DG Set Control Panel with ABB Make Digital Relays, PLC, Synchronisation Panel,
11KV SF6 Breaker Panels, PCC, MCC, Battery Chargers, NGR and UPS.
Preventive maintenance and conditional monitoring and breakdown maintenance activities to be
carried out for all equipments as per SOPs. Working experience on SAP Preventive maintenance &
inspection orders as per schedule, Completing the entries of daily working activities and breakdown
entries also.

Preparing the Standard operating procedures(SOP) of electrical all electrical activities,and preparing
work instructions and explaining them to the subordinates. Working on ISO documentation.

Preparing the daily energy reports and calculation of production per MWH on daily basis, and energy
conservative activities for increasing the power efficiency. Planning & handling of all the electrical
spares.

Working experience in Testing and Commissioning of Relays like i.e

MICOM Relay for Over current and Earth fault (AREVA)  P632 & P122
SPAJ 140C (ABB)  relay for overload and earth fault etc.
SPAJ 150C (ABB) motor protection relay for overload and earth fault, single phasing etc.
Motor Protection Relay( L&T) for protection like Rotor stall, Motor over current , Earth fault, Single
phasing etc.

YASKAWA Make MP2300 PLC System for Mitsubishi Control Panel and ladder programming with
operating software MPE720C. SIEMENS S7-300 PLC System with 256 I/O for Fusion Plant Control
Panel and ladder programming with SIMATIC Software.

Commissioning , Trouble shooting & maintenance of  ABB ACS 400,550,800 VFD and Allen Bradley
Power Flex 400N Series. Soft Starter Siemens Make SIRIUS 3RW40-56-6BB-4 for 225KW 3 Phase
415V Induction Motor for CL2 Plant with soft start, soft stop, current limit, integrated bypass contact
system, integrated overload relay with adjustable trip class selection, internal intrinsic device protection
features.

HT Capacitor Banks for Power Factor Improvement i.e 5MVAR with 5 th , 7th, 11th and 13th Harmonics
Filtor Banks, 1MVAR,2MVAR,3MVAR Capacitor Banks with reactors and residual voltage transformers
for neutral displacement relays.

Coordination and interlocking schemes of various pneumatic and electronis relays. 11KV HT Panels of
11KV Substation with ABB Make SF6 Breakers and digital protection relays.

Complete maintenance of 12KV SF6 Circuit Breakers upto 2000Amps, 500MVA of crompton, ABB and
Kirloskar Make. 2MVA and 1.5MVA Auxiliary Transformers for plant motors.
Commissioning & Maintenance & Testing of all HT and LT switchgear equipments like Transformers,
Relays and Breakers (ACB SF6 & VCB).

PCC, MCC, Distribution Boards, Battery Chargers, Battery Banks and UPS Systems.

Maintenance of Plant AC 3-Phase Induction Motors of various ratings from 1HP to 225HP, HT
MOTORS 6.6V upto 1200KW. DC Motors, Starters and AC Variable Frequency Drives.

Handled 132KV Substation Project with complete erection and commissioning of 15MVA EMCO

132KV Current transformers, potential Transformers, 132KV Control Panel with Digital ALSTOM Make
MICOM Series Protection Relays, MD Controller Panel, interlocking schemes of control circuit, tower
erection and stringing of ACSR Panther Conductor from MPPKVVCL to 132KV Substation.

Erection and commissioning of 90KV, 180V DC High Current PLC Based Thyristor Rectifier ABB Make
with 21MVA EMCO Transformer for Membrane Electrolysers.

Erection and commissioning of Captive Power Plant of 2Nos 6MW,11KV HFO Based WARTSILA
Engines and KIRLOSKAR Make 320KVA DG Set for Emergency Power Backup.

Erection and commissioning of 4X725KV DG Sets, 415V, 3Phase for high rise building at
25,Barakhamba Road, New Delhi, Bus Duct of 3Phase 4Wire of 1250Amps, control panel wiring, fire
detection and PA System.

STRATEGIC PLANNING/COST REDUCTION:

Formulating strategic plans to enhance operations. Spearheading value analysis & other continous
improvements in processes. Conceptualizing and implementing strict measures in operating procedures
and equipment centerlines to optimize resources/ capacity utilization. Evaluating major capital
expenditure proposals to secure the best interest of the plant and increase productivity.

MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT:

Planning and effective preventive maintenance schedules of various machineries and to increase
machine up time/ reliability; thereby accomplishing planned production targets. Development and
implementing plans & schedules for Maintenance Operations and Annual turn around with focus on
optimum utilization of manpower and material. Proactively identify areas of breakdowns and take steps
to rectify the equipment through application of trouble shooting tools.
