Cool infrared-free light. At the head area of the surgeon it allows for fatigue-free operating and prevents tissue from drying out in the OT field.

Shadow-free illumination. The relation between light body and light field diameter guarantees an optimum illumination of the OT field in terms
of area and depth.

High illuminance with optimum colour rendering. The white light of the LED OT light has a colour rendering index (Ra) of >95 at all dimming
levels, an optimum colour rendering for red colours (R 9) of 96; illumination level adjustable between 60,000 and 160,000 lux.

Individually adjustable colour temperature. The ability to adjust the colour temperature in three stages from 3,800 K to 4,800 K ensures that the
light can be implemented in almost every surgical area.

Optimum design for clean air ceilings (Laminar Air Flow). The flow-optimised light housing and the reduced surface temperature (max. 27.5 °C)
reduce turbulence in Laminar Air Flow.

Ergonomic product design – adapted to the work conditions of an OT. The LED OT light can be easily positioned by the surgeon using the central
sterile handle or by OT personnel using the four handles arranged on the outside of the light body.

High degree of protection guarantees the best conditions in terms of hygiene. Thanks to the IP 54 rating (protection against dust and splash
water) the Aurinio LED OT lights can be disinfected using a liquid agent or spray.

LAS Technology. The LAS Technology offsets the aging process of LEDs – for a 100 % light output even after many years.

Technology upgrade: the TRILUX warranty for the future. TRILUX’ warranty for the future ensures that the lighting technology of LED OT lights
can be adapted at a fixed price, whenever TRILUX starts to market an improved lighting technology.
Features and advantages

First-rate lighting. Due to the LFL lens

combination developed by TRILUX, a primary
optics guides the light in parallel, while a
secondary optics ensures beams of coherent
light. The result: an optimum, shadow-free
illumination of the OT field in terms of area
and depth.

Best hygienic conditions. The light can be

disinfected using a liquid or spray thanks to
its high IP 54 degree of protection.

Flow-optimised light housing. The design

is optimally suited for clean air ceilings
(Laminar Air Flow).

Minimised surface temperature thanks

to thermal management. The LED OT light
fulfills the testing requirements of the
standard for turbulence-free OT lights as
per DIN 1946 Part 4 (2005). There is no uplift,
since the average degree of turbulence is
below 26 %.

Variable colour temperature. The colour

temperature can be varied in three steps
3,800 K, 4,300 K and 4,800 K. As a result,
surgeons always have the optimum visual
conditions depending on the extent of per-
fusion of the surgical site. A better contrast
can also be achieved by changing the light
colour temperature in accordance with the
tissue type and the structure of the OT field.

Luminous density and depth of illumination.

The central level of illumination Ec at 1 m
distance is 160,000 lux with a depth of illumi-
nation L1 + L2 of 800 - 890 mm.

Variable light field diameter. The light field

diameter can be adjusted between 200 mm
and 300 mm for an optimum illumination of
various size operating fields.

Endoscopy mode with green light. Green

light reduces eye fatigue and reflections on
TFT monitors during endoscopic procedures.
Ambient lighting remains sufficient for
­operating theatre personnel to perform
their work.

Equipment options

Dual control (optional). The dual control of the light offers, in addition to the control unit
at the light head, the option to control all light functions via a wall module or by remote
­control module.

Aurinio SD control elements. All functions

(i.e., dimming, endoscopy mode, camera
zoom etc.) can be quickly and precisely
­realised with the simple and clearly arranged
control elements at the light head and the
wall module/remote control. The surfaces
are resistant to disinfectants and thus are
easy to clean.

Aurinio PM control elements. The control

elements of the premium model are
­characterised by a high-class appearance,
easy-to-use size, sensor keys and user-
friendly control. The hygienic glass surface
is resistant and easy to clean. In addition to
the functions of the Aurinio SD, there is also
the option to adjust the colour temperature
on 3 levels.
Equipment options

Integrated camera. As an option, an analog

or digital camera can be integrated in the
sterile handle of the light for documentation
and teaching purposes. The signal from the
analog Aurinio K SD is transmitted via sliding
contacts in the hinges. The digital version
convinces with the fastest type of auto focus
and a wide variety of additional features.
2 megapixel, 1/3” CMOS sensor, 10-times
optical zoom and 12-times digital zoom make
even the most minute details in the OT field
visible. The signals are transmitted without
loss with the aid of direct cabling.

Separate camera. The Aurinio K HD digital

camera is also available in a separate pan/
tilt unit and has the same technical features
as the integrated HD camera. The corres-
ponding control box can be integrated in the
monitor support.

Monitors. The cameras can be combined

with two different monitors: the 19-inch
Aurinio M 19 monitor with a 1280 x 1024 reso-
lution or the 24-inch Aurinio M 24 HD moni-
tor with a 1920 x 1200 resolution, whereas
the HD monitor should be used exclusively in
conjunction with the HD camera.

Lots of light, little temperature. The cool, infra-red-free light ensures optimum temperature conditions in areas where patients are examined.

Ergonomic design. The mobile light is suited for versatile use in very different medical areas. The handle area integrated into the light‘s stand
tube ensures ease of use.

High illuminance with optimum colour rendering. The white light of the Aurinio examination light has a colour temperature of 4,000 Kelvin and
a colour rendering index Ra of > 94 for all dimming levels. It can be adjusted in three levels between 25,000 lux and 50,000 lux.

Long intervals between maintenance. The use of long-lasting LEDs (20,000 h) will considerably reduce the costs incurred for changing lamps
in comparison with conventional examination lights.

Simple positioning. The light head can be positioned using the handle at the bottom side of the light head. A circular handle ring is also available
for the Aurinio L 50 PM, which should allow for positioning from all sides.

High ease of use. A cable hook on the stand tube for easy cable storage reduces trip hazards. The Aurinio L 50 PM also has a cable reel integrated
the light’s base.

Circular handle ring. A circular handle

ring is available in the colours white, blue
or green for the Aurinio L 50 PM.

Positioning. Easy to manipulate thanks

to the handle at the bottom side of the light

High levels of illumination. The halogen OT light provides up to 140,000 lux with high colour temperature in the centre of the light field.

100 % light output with emergency standby guaranteed. Fully automatic emergency light switch-over ensures optimum lighting at all times.

Maximum filtering of IR radiation. 99 % of the infra-red component in light is filtered using a special filter technology.

TRILUX upgrade guarantee. Purchasing a TRILUX Aurinio halogen OT light guarantees that you have the option to switch over to LED technology
at a later time. The mechanical parts do not need to be changed, only the light bodies will have to change.

Light density and depth of illumination. The
