E9.4.2 This project shall use Raychem WPCT heat shrink sleeves. Sleeves UWR - QMR

be “Touch Tested” to ensure even distribution of heat. A digital
thermometer is to be available to spot test the temperature.
Raychem Installation  Sleeve shall be loosely wrapped around the joint

 Both installers shall heat the sleeve along the centre of the
sleeve using vertical sweeping motion and then outward from
the shrunken centre to the edges.
