 NIK SELECTIVE TOOL
Boost your productivity and optimize your
workflow
The Nik Selective Tool, which is fully integrated with
Adobe Photoshop, serves as a dashboard for the
Nik Collection By DxO suite. This exclusive palette
lets you export the image you are editing to the
plugin of your choice. You can even select a filter or
preset directly from your list of favorites. The latest
version of the tool offers an enhanced user experi-
ence through its new design and features.

Renovated interface
Completely redesigned so it can better integrate
with the workspace in Adobe Photoshop, the new
Photo Wilmer Martinez Nik Selective Tool includes an icon for each plugin
as well as a simple description of what they do to
help you identify each option more quickly.

The Nik Selective Tool is also compatible with HiDPI

screens and can be used in double-screen mode
for an even more productive experience. Finally, to
help you work more comfortably, the palette has
been resized in mini mode so it only shows the
plugin icons, resulting in a less cluttered workspace
in Adobe Photoshop.

Quick retouching for an even more effective

workflow
The new Nik Selective Tool also revolutionizes how
Nik Collection By DxO is used by simplifying it and
providing faster access to each editing feature.

The new Last Edit feature lets you apply quick

retouches in the plugin of your choice by re-ap-
plying the last preset used in one click (excluding
Perspective Efex).

With the Quick Edit option, you can also re-apply

the last actions used (whether a favorite option or a
quick retouch) without having to launch the plugin
interface.

Users can now access their favorite presets for Sil-

ver Efex Pro and HDR Efex Pro, in addition to those
included in Color Efex Pro.

These features make for an even more effective

workflow, especially when editing several images in
a series. In collapsed or expanded mode, the new Nik Selective
Tool offers enhanced visibility and direct access to your
plugins, favorites, and retouching tools.

NON-DESTRUCTIVE
WORKFLOW
A revolution for Adobe Lightroom Classic
users
One of the main issues Nik Collection By DxO users
reported when working with Adobe Lightroom
Classic was its destructive workflow. They could not
continue editing an image once they had ended
their session on the Nik plugin used to make the
original edits. With Nik Collection 3 By DxO, users
can now edit their images as many times as they
would like, while still keeping the editing settings
used during their previous session. The TIFF MULTIPAGE file format lets you combine the
input file, your editing settings, and the output file in a
single file.
Flexibility of the TIFF MULTIPAGE file format
The non-destructive workflow used in Nik Collec-
tion 3 by DxO is based on the TIFF MULTIPAGE file
format. This format lets you combine the input
file, the saved Nik editing settings, and the output
file—all in a single file. As a result, the plugins in Nik
Collection 3 By DxO can open an image without
changing any of the filters that were applied as of
the last time the file was saved.
Simple to use
To take full advantage of the software’s non-de-
structive workflow, export the image in TIFF format
by selecting the “TIFF file format” option from the
Copy File Options under the Photo > Edit in menu
in Adobe Lightroom Classic. Next, activate the
non-destructive workflow option in the window of
the desired plugin by checking the “Save and allow
to resume editing” box. You can then access all your
edits and restart an editing session in standalone
mode in the same plugin.

plugin dedicated to geometric corrections. It is the
perfect tool for Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom Clas-
sic, and Elements users who would like to correct
defects or add geometric effects to their images.

 
Quick and easy
Either automatically or by using Control Points,
Perspective Efex can correct any unsightly leading
lines in urban and architectural photos, no matter
how complex.

Using a one-of-a-kind database created from DxO’s

optical modules, Perspective Efex also removes all
types of distortion, including barrel, pincushion,
and fisheye distortion.

effect. It is the very first plugin capable of accurately reproducing the effect of a tilt-shift lens.

Perspective Efex offers two blur gradients. Users can adjust placement, orientation, and intensity and choose
