     Can beauty pageants such as Miss Universe be categorized as a practice of soft-core
    pornography?
     Do beauty pageants facilitate to create assurance among women?

     Do these have dangerous and damaging effects amongst girls?

    Do beauty pageants help assist its purpose in the society?

    4. Central idea/Thesis:
    Beauty contests demonstrate to early teenaged girls their flaws and make them feel bad about their
    appearance. Merely bringing those insecurities and lack of confidence to these young girls and
    showing to the public that the world only cares about looks.

     A woman’s beauty should not be judged to the point that she has to use her brains to be
    accepted by the society.
     Beauty pageants judged these young women based on their appearance and looks.
     Beauty pageants only serve its purpose when they destroy the young girl’s image and self-worth.
     Beauty pageants only see you as an object and can be a little chauvinist.
