a higher level of fire resistance and/or acoustic performance required.

Typical applications include:

— Fire separation and smoke walls

— Intertenancy walls and party walls
— Multi-residential unit ceilings

Tested Fire Performance

Gyprock fire rated plasterboard products are manufactured with special additives to enhance their fire resistance properties. The
additives slow the progress of heat and flame, and when used as part of a CSR fire rated system, provide performance options suitable
for many construction types.

CSR provides a range of wall and ceiling systems, junction and

penetration details, which meet and exceed the requirements of the
Building Code of Australia. These solutions often include a
combination of plasterboard, insulation, sealants and accessories to
reach various performance criteria.
