    EIGHT POINT AGENDA

    1. UPGRADING HEALTH CARE SERVICES

    Working together to ensure the ongoing improvement and sustainability of the provincial health
    care system with the goal of ensuring effective, safe services for the entire province and focusing on
    the less capable consumers, aimed at providing care and improve quality, safety, performance and
    accountability in the most appropriate and efficient setting in improving health outcomes.

    2. ECO-TOURISM PROMOTION

    Showcasing the abundance of natural environmental wonders and tourist destination in the
    province, building linkages and infrastructure that will spark tourism and the advancement of strategies
    in revenue regenerating tourism based –economy while protecting the environment.

    3. PARTICIPATORY GOVERNANCE

    Driving the Province to a Climate of Peace to attract investors, practicing bottoms-up approach
    in planning and budgeting to ensure transparency and the convergence and complementation with
    local government units and national agencies with regards to policy formulation and project, programs,
    activities implementation.

    4. FARMERS EMPOWERMENT TOWARDS MODERN AGRICULTURE

    The provincial government shall implement programs and projects that will address the
    production, processing, manufacturing and marketing needs of small farmers thru Strengthening of
    community development assistance to farmers through effective organization, financial, technology and
    marketing intervention.

    5. NURTURING EDUCATION

    Intensifying interventions in cultivating knowledge for the


    people for them to acquire basic education or post-graduate degrees
    and ensuring that the growth of literacy rate in the province is
    gradually ascending and at standard quality.

    6. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION

    Formulating, Implementing and Supporting of sustainable


    projects, programs or activities in the conservation of our natural
    resources through the convergence of LGUs and NGAs.

    7. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT AND EMPOWERMENT

    Empowering the Cotabateño youth through youth


    developmental projects, programs and activities and safeguarding
    them against illegal drugs and other vices.

    8. SUSTAINABLE LIVELIHOOD AND DIGNIFIED EMPLOYMENT

    Creating sustainable livelihood for communities and the


    formulation of an employment plan for graduates of both tertiary and
    vocational technical graduates to be used as guide for the conduct of
    job fairs.
