Wedding Photography Contract

WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY CONTRACT
Thank you for booking your wedding with Brandon and Serena Photography. We are very
excited to photograph your wedding day and the love shared between you and your fiancé.
Booking is considered complete once this contract has been signed and the 50% retainer
fee has been paid to Brandon & Serena Photography.
1. All bookings must have a signed contract and 50% retainer paid before reserving the
date.
2. Any incomplete contracts are subject to loss of photographer and date.

3. Payment. The Parties agree to the following Payment and Payment Terms:
Total Fee for Services: $1,356 (includes 13% HST)
Non-Refundable Deposit Due Upon Execution of Agreement: $678 (50% retainer)
Balance Due on Day of Wedding: $678

4. Engagement Session. This package will include a 1 hour-1.5 hour session for engagement
photos. Location to be discussed and agreed by both the photographer and the client. A
full online gallery of High-Resolution downloadable images will be posted within four (4)
weeks of the engagement session. Your online gallery expires six (6) months after receiving
the images.
5. Additional Terms and Conditions.
a. Client agrees to provide a meal for Photographer if Photographer’s attendance is

required for greater than five (5) hours.
b. Client agrees to give/have someone give Photographer sufficient warning of key

events at the wedding to give the Photographer time to prepare (i.e., bouquet toss,
cake cutting, speeches, etc.)
c. Client agrees that Photographer shall be given precedence in taking photographs

over guests with cell phone cameras and other devices.
d. Client acknowledges Photographer may be limited in scope by rules of the location

of the ceremony and/or reception. (i.e., flash photography may not be allowed
within a Church)
6. Digital production timeline:
a. A full online gallery of High-Resolution images will be posted within eight (8) weeks of
the wedding.
b. Clients are responsible for downloading the file of all images from the online gallery.
c. The Clients acknowledge that they understand how to download the images from the
web onto their computer, including unzipping the .zip file, and how to back up images
to prevent image loss.
d. Your online gallery expires six (6) months after the date of your wedding.
7. Copyright. Photographer shall maintain the copyright of all photographs. Photographer
grants Client permission to make copies of the images for personal use by Client and
their family and friends. Sale, publication, or any other commercial use is specifically
prohibited without the prior written consent of Photographer.
8. Cancellation.
 By Client. Client may cancel this Agreement at any time prior to the event. Upon
cancellation, Client will be entitled to a refund of any monies paid, except for the non-
refundable deposit.
 By Photographer. In the unlikely event that Brandon and Serena Photography is
unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of
god, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of Brandon and Serena
Photography, Brandon and Serena Photography will make every effort to secure a
replacement. If a suitable replacement is not found, Brandon and Serena Photography
is required to terminate this agreement. In the alternative, Photographer shall refund
all monies previously paid by Client, including the non-refundable deposit.
9. Legal and Binding Agreement. This Agreement is legal and binding between the Parties
as stated above. This Agreement may be entered into and is legal and binding in Canada.
The Parties each represent that they have the authority to enter into this Agreement.
10. Entire Agreement. The Parties acknowledge and agree that this Agreement represents
the entire agreement between the Parties. In the event that the Parties desire to
change, add, or otherwise modify any terms, they shall do so in writing to be signed by
both parties.
