Chapter 3

Research design

The research will be using a descriptive design particularly interview and a

survey questionnaire in utilizing the data-gathering procedure and is the instrument to

be used in such process.

According to the deplorable.com the descriptive research design is a scientific

method which involved observing and describing the behavior of a subject without

influencing it in any way.

Thus, it denotes that this type of research design that involved observing and

describing undergoes a process of observation to analyze and assess the respondents’

demeanor without the researcher swaying the subject bearing.

Since the study needs a detailed description and precise measurement, a

descriptive design is necessary for the research to be able to describe the difference of

teacher in teaching.

Subject of the study

Out the 14 senior high school teachers of Baras-Pinugay National High School

(G7-G12), following the 50% + 1 role of population and sampling, 8 teachers will be

selected or chosen to be the respondents of this research.
