Wärtsilä Gas Power

Plants Plants Standard Power Plant Concepts

Wärtsilä have during the years developed different

Gas Plant fuels types of standard power plant concepts

W32GD* NG, AG, LFO, HFO, CRO

The traditional Modular Power Plant will be more or less
project specific, however, the plant is built as far as possible by
W34DF NG, LFO, HFO, LBF standard modules and components. This solution is normally
used and optimized for multi engine plants, i.e. more than 3
engines per power plant or above 20 MW plant size
W34SG NG, AG

During the last year highly standardized power plant solutions

NG, LFO, HFO W50DF OilCube and GasCube have been developed. This concept is
optimized for 1 to 3 W32 engines or 5 to 30 MW plant size
1 5 10 50 100 200 300
Plant size MW
NG = Natural Gas And finally also a W20 Containerized power plant has been
* For Oil&Gas Industry AG = Associated Gas
LFO = Light Fuel Oil
developed, i.e. a 1.5 MW HFO Containerized Power Plant.
HFO = Heavy Fuel Oil
CRO = Crude Oil
LBF = Liquid Bio Fuel
