S Four Inch Stub Cyclone

coarse cut point –

compact dimensions
The SC470-P Four Inch Stub Cyclone is a short cone
hydrocyclone able to make separations at a coarse size
and give a consistently high density, well deslimed spigot
product.
Many units are operating in mining, plastics recycling, coal
r and minerals industries where the separation, based on SG
differential between the solid particles, is of great benefit.
The Stub Cyclone can be fed at low pressure to give d50 cut points
up to 500 microns with capacities up to 17m3/h. Fine sized high SG
solids are normally recovered to the spigot product. Cut point can
be controlled over a wide range by varying spigot outlet size.
The unique design features highly abrasion resistant polyurethane
mouldings fastened together with quick-release stainless steel ‘V’
clamps. Cone liners and spigot inserts are also available in
ceramic.
Compact dimensions allow installation of the unit in confined
spaces where it would not be possible to fit a conventional unit.
