Chemical Hazard Bulletin: Potassium Silver (I) Cyanide

Potassium silver(I) cyanide is a very toxic solid that mixes with water and is combustible. It is very toxic if inhaled, swallowed, or comes into contact with skin or eyes. Appropriate precautions such as local exhaust ventilation, chemical goggles or face shield, and particulate respirators should be used. It must be stored securely away from living areas and food and disposed of as hazardous waste. In an emergency, prioritize removing contamination and giving oxygen while awaiting medical attention.
