Nishat Mills Limited is a public company operating in Pakistan and is listed on all three Pakistani
stock exchanges. This company is engaged in textile manufacturing including weaving
bleaching, spinning, combing, stitching, dyeing, printing and buying, and selling of textiles. 

Competitive Strategies

To get maximum benefit from quota free regime, all out efforts are needed to boost textile
exports and increase access to the international markets. The textile industry of Pakistan plays an
important role in earning foreign exchange, providing employment to the country. But with the
ending of quota system in world, Pakistan textile loses share in world trade of textile products.
Nishat textile products will have a big potential to capture big share of world trade but there are
lots of reasons which forces to step back from using the full capacity of textile machinery to earn
more and more foreign exchange for the country. With all these reasons Nishat textile Owners
use latest machinery which is more efficient and up to the mark with the Competing countries.
Although Nishat has very strong image in the market nationwide financially and product wise
but it has small market share in the global textile industry due to the sound competitors likes
china, and Bangladesh etc.

incorporated in Pakistan. Nishat is engaged in textile manufacturing. Which involves spinning,
combing, weaving, bleaching, dyeing, and printing, stitching, buying, and selling of textiles. They
deal with yarn, linen, cloth and other goods including fabrics made from raw cotton, synthetic
fiber and cloth. The Company is engaged in the business of textile manufacturing and of
spinning, combing,  weaving, bleaching, dyeing printing, stitching, buying, selling and otherwise
dealing in yarn, linen, cloth and other goods and fabrics made from raw cotton, synthetic fiber
and cloth, and to generate, accumulate, distribute and supply electricity. Company is providing
quality products to its customers within the Pakistan and outside the Pakistan. Presently
company is exporting its all kinds if apparel products.

Nishat textile is high quality and standard products, strong security system, highly motivated
workforce, customer loyalty with brand, well discipline culture and environment that enables
Nishat textile to compete with other competitors and achieve the competitive advantage.

Challengers:
NTM competes using its competitors in terms of advancement, price and campaigns. The higher
professionals innovate the employees of NTM by being attentive them and also have started to
give them benefits and hence get the desired results. NTM has good strategy of advancement in
the competitors. Price is the very essential aspect and NTM attempting to reduce the cost and
prices will go down automatically. This price strategy helps NTM to become the industry head in
Pakistan. The employees are being promoted on their performance level in a fix period while the
competitor's staff need more time to be marketed.

Market Strategies

Make an effort to minimize the expense of creation and the purchase of latest equipment. To
improve the quality and creation is the main concentrate area. Nishat must build its name in
new marketplaces be creating specialized fabrics designs by giving excellent customers service
and quality as well. In some areas of the industry old methods have to remove by the latest
ones.

Competitive Market target

The focus on marketing comes after the marketplace segmentation which I have explained
above and here we choose specific group of folks or analyses the market of the products or
services. Following the identification of segmentation the professionals make decision of taking
the opportunities considering the prime goal and secondary aim for but the concentrate on
marketing of NTM wants going to the weaving sector which contributed a lot in the profits of

At the moment NTM is not in attacking position since it has problems both nationally and
internationally. Because of the high cost of creation, heavy government taxes, politics instability
are main factors.

 Defensive strategy:

NTM's defensive strategy is to obstruct the strike of the competitors because of the above
problems it has been adopting the defensive strategy.

Nishat textile mills has fixed a certain amount of money for the introduction of marketing mix.
At Ntm, the higher management has installed complete system of information for all its places,
people, product and prices providing relevant information effectively to ensure thoroughness in
decision-making and managing company s resources. A number of the sectors added a great
deal in the profit such as weaving but this segment in the foreseeable future will go down as a
result of high prices and it could affect the earnings, products, place and folks because the
business must prepare for this coming danger and for that reason has announced a complete
bundle.
