1. Provide an overview of the family, ownership, and business of the current situation of the
family business. (10%)
2. Put yourself in the position of Sanjeev. As Sanjeev, what is going through your mind? What
factors make this circumstance challenging for you? Describe and explain at least five
challenging factors from the perspective of Sanjeev. (20%)
3. The role of women in the family business: Which role do typical characteristics of family
businesses play in the situation of the case study? Elaborate on the role of national culture.
Would you expect the situation to be different in the Danish context? Explain why and how.

4. Advisors in family firms: If you were supposed to choose an advisor to help with the current
situation, which competences should the advisor have? Explain why these competences are
needed and with what specific aspects of the problems an advisor could help. (20%)
5. How would you recommend they proceed with succession planning for the next generation?
What needs to be included? Who should lead the process? Which roles and responsibilities
should the three children have? Make sure to include all important decisions that need to be
taken. Provide two different options and describe their up- and downsides. Which of your two
options do you think is the best solution? Explain your choice. (30%)
