Guild of Young Information Specialist

The Guild of Young Information Specialist is an academic oriented organization that


aims to foster the aspirants of the future information specialists that should acquire
leadership skills, excellent knowledge and talent through quality training, exposure.

OBJECTIVES

Promote activities where the faculty and students of Library and Information Science
may become acquainted, academically and socially

Maintain a high standard of learning by providing necessary materials in accordance


with the organization’s capability.

Enhance learning experience and leadership of its members thru various programs like
seminars/workshops, trainings and symposium as well as visitations.

Prepare one self to be an Information Specialist.
