A photograph holds memories in life; a time and place on specific life events.

It's
not merely a visual presentation
of the physical being but it encompasses significant experiences, moments, and
feelings. Photographs serve a
larger purpose and had been an important part of my journey of capturing the
moments on how I get through from
stresses in life, how I build a stronger relationship with people, and how I came
out of my comfortable box. Through
this photo collage, I'll narrate how these photos have significant meaning in my
life.

This collage displays a series of photographs of myself, family, friends, and new
people in my life. Starting from
myself; the photos show what I frequently do when things in my life get difficult;
I use my passion for photography
for a chance to meditate alone. Due to the calming atmosphere that I experience
during the process of doing it or
being in a place where I love to go to make me feel a sense of comfort and peace,
eradicating the stresses that
embody in my life. On the other hand, journaling, listening to music, and playing
instrument have been helpful
liberating the pressure and stresses that I experience. Through journaling, enables
me to write down my thoughts,
examine and observe the mental and emotional processes that help me maintain and
build a healthy mental and
emotional health.

In photos of my family; I want to portray that building a strong relationship with


them through communication played
an important part in my life, especially in this time of the pandemic. In that way,
it would encourage me to express
my thoughts, feelings, and emotions openly which is a vital part of maintaining my
mental health. Aside from that, it
would also enable them to share their feelings with me as well without any
hesitation. In photos of my friends; some of
these are the moments when we fixed our friendly relationship with each other. We
had misunderstandings days before
the photos were taken and we initiated an open discussion which helped in restoring
our relationship. On the other side,
my friends also place an important part that shaped my characteristics. I'm an
introvert person, but they motivated me to
gradually diminish it, in able for me to express myself freely. They influenced me
to be more confident with myself
since I stayed inside my comfort zone for a long period and it helped me make a
making a change and creating a
positive impact in myself. In the screen capture photo with my classmates in
college; I inserted it since they made me
realize that we should interact and communicate with each other during the online
class, in eradicating the competition
that we hold within ourselves and help each other as a class instead.
