The chemical process industry is subject to a constant evolution of its
products as a result of different factors, amongst which the follo-

In the high capacity versions, which range from 700 to 3000 lts., and due to the large dimensions, the Planetary Mixers PL (without cowles disc) or PLD (with cowles
disc) are mounted on a heavy duty construction with two supporting columns, and produce homogeneous mixures in the manufacture of high viscosity products.

1 AGITATION
The planetary mixer PLAMI-
XER in vertical execution is
designed to operate with
exchangeable cylindrical pro-
duction bowls and features a
multiple stirring system made
up of a planetary mechanism.

This mechanism is made up

of a gear box with rotating
2 movement, driven by a reduc-
tion speed gear unit.

On one side it is equipped

with a scraping blade which
moves around the internal
perimeter of the bowl in order
to keep the walls clean of
incrustations, and which pu-
shes the materials towards the
centre of the bowl.

The planetary box is equipped
with two or three groups of
mixing blades (depending on
the model) which rotate
around each other, whilst they 5
are moved in a circular move-
ment by the planetary box.

The combination of all these

elements results in an opti-
mum kneading of all the

The mixing assembly is insta-

lled in a mobile head, with a
hydraulic lifting and lowering
system in order to allow
exchange of the bowl.
