Abstract

Suicidal behavior is a serious problem worldwide, and at the same time it receives little

empirical attention. This lack of relative empirical attention may be partly due to a lack of

development in the theory of suicidal behavior. We live in a tense world. Today, stress is

considered to be the main cause of many problems, be it family, community, organization, or

country. It is clear that life today is full of challenges, demands and frustrations. Most people

consider it a general attribute, but the term has become an important part of everyday

vocabulary and is used casually.

Workplace Stress 4

Introduction

Stress is present at every stage of our life. This isn't necessarily bad, of course, but it can lead

to mental depression if not handled wisely. This, to some extent, works well under pressure

and motivates us to achieve good results, but can have devastating psychological and physical

side effects over time. In the workplace, this has an impact on employee productivity, which

can affect organizational productivity (Ganapathi and Panchanatham, 2012).

Stress is expressed in various technical terms, but in easy phrases, it seems like stress

disappears spontaneously in reaction to sure events. In other phrases, stress is a feature of the

thoughts, how a person surely responds to a hazard. It is defined as a circumstance that occurs

while we are mentally or emotionally disturbed by using intense pressure. In today's

existence, billions of people suffer from stress and its aspect outcomes every day (Stevenson

and Harper, 2006). When coping with personal or expert problems, a person reviews stress. It

is defined as bad pressure, and while someone achieves what they want, strain is defined as

fine stress.

In the workplace, this could be as a result of numerous causes or outcomes of an event that

neither the employee nor the enterprise can distinguish. Job-associated strain is the bad

physical and emotional effect of job needs that don't healthy the skills, resources, or needs of

the employee. Not best harmful to health, but additionally dangerous to human performance

and competitiveness, that's a huge fee for the corporation. In modern tremendously

aggressive commercial enterprise environment, task pressure is a chief issue. Stress at

paintings desires to be a extreme problem, as a way to be a trouble these days and tomorrow.

Case Under Study and Communication Theory

A forty eight-year-antique instructor died on suspicion of suicide after falling from a six-story

elementary college in Tinsuiwai (Sophie, 2019).

Ramlighton surpassed out at 7:23 A.M. In the grounds of the Leotung Hailey Tungwa

Hospital Group fundamental faculty quickly earlier than the scholars arrived. He became

reported dead on the scene. The institution additionally said it would provide guide to the

own family, consisting of assist for organizing funerals. The group added that they're always

involved approximately the college paintings surroundings and provide various schooling and

help to high school principals and teachers (Sophie, 2019).

Pressure is part of all the paintings we do and in the end motivates us properly. Keep

personnel and employers exact. When it receives out of hand and out of manage, it can have

sure outcomes. For individuals, this leads to poor overall performance and ill fitness, which is

adverse to employers because the employer is predicated at the overall performance of its

employees. There are many annoying elements at work. Some of it's far clear. For instance,

when an employer is experiencing a restructuring or monetary disaster. Many other reasons

of internal stress encompass loss of verbal exchange, excessive operating hours or running

beneath strain, operating hours, harassment, work anxiety, role conflicts, administrative

center layout, lack of understanding, loss of ability, inequality, relationships, and many

others. Labor, and many others. Factors along with own family troubles, circle of relatives

problems, and financial issues can also exacerbate strain (Bucher, Fieseler and Suphan,

2013). Workplace pressure theory seeks to understand the processes by means of which strain

engages humans and companies. These theories cowl an critical part of stress schooling the

usage of a distinct perspective. Once understood, studies can assist organizations increase

higher tactics to pressure management (Mesmer-Magnus, Glew and Viswesvaran, 2012).

A key factor of the pressure transaction theory at work is that strain itself arises from the

inner negotiations that employees have with their state of affairs. Regardless of the affect of

outside elements, stress degrees in the long run depend on how employees compare. In this

manner, personnel can higher manage their mood via virtually converting their mind-set on

degree. A commonplace false impression approximately psychological fashions arises when

humans assume that one version must be correct in contrast to any other. The validity of the

model does not simplest exist on a linear scale. Some fashions can continue to be valid, even

in case you use very extraordinary techniques to remedy the trouble. By identifying and

disposing of verbal exchange barriers, enterprise is 1/2 the warfare (Wasserman et al., 2008).

The conversation float guarantees a smooth workflow and creates a strain free environment

for the organization. Communication is a device that human beings want to take part in

organizational strategies and sports. If the verbal exchange device is reduce off, it is able to

end up inefficient.

The Role of Communication in Stress Management at Workplace

Communication is a skill and very important to get it in everyday life. Effective and efficient

communication flow and transparency are essential for organizations to successfully support

and participate in the work environment. Communication is the lifeline of an organization.

This is absolutely necessary for organizational stability or growth. All organizational

processes experience communication barriers. Lack or lack of communication exposes many

problems in organizations (A Douglas and Landy, no date).

As social animals, humans want to communicate, share and appreciate their emotions.

Ignoring basic human characteristics and focusing only on work, people become discouraged,

isolated, and depressed (Lutgen-Sandvik and Sypher, 2010). In addition, the extraordinary

advances in technology have created hostile social gatherings as computers spend more time

on computers than in direct contact with one another. This creates misleading gaps, creates an

unpleasant environment, and causes fatigue syndrome. Therefore, effective communication is

the starting point of all actions to avoid the burnout syndrome stage (Lee, Son and Kim,

2016). Communication refers to the foundation of the organization: personnel and

Workplace Stress 7

management. Internal communication is an important tool for focusing on goals, connecting

organizations, maintaining employee motivation, increasing transparency, and dealing with

slow and invisible distractions in an organization.

Good communication between all levels in the workplace, from top to bottom, is an effective

way to deal with stress. Management should encourage open communication with staff by

holding regular meetings to communicate future developments and provide opportunities for

employees to express their views (Barley, Meyerson and Grodal, 2011). This method of

increasing the flow of communication and exchange of information is considered the most

important and effective step that needs to be taken to reduce the stressful environment in an

organization.

Conclusion

One strategy doesn't work in all situations to reduce stress at work, but implementing more

than one strategy does. Management knows the keys to success, but must strive to demand it

from its employees. Stress management techniques are easy to teach employees and provide

them with the knowledge and skills they need to identify and combat. Additionally, change

support, clear definitions of employee roles, appropriate workloads, and the ability to provide

social support make your organization's environment more welcoming. With the right

judgment and compliance, you can build a stress-free and rewarding organization.

Recommendation

As you know, applause sounds very easy. To create a calm environment and increase

productivity, employees must try to deal with stress to be active and productive, but

management is taking steps to create a stress-free environment. I'll take it. Not only that,

finding ways to manage and relieve stress at work also has a positive impact on interpersonal

relationships outside of the workplace. Therefore, both employers and employees must take

the lead in stress relief by implementing stress reduction programs and implementing

strategies to achieve organizational goals.
