    Todays Lesson: Entrepreneurship

    What is Entrepreneurship?
    - Process of creating & designing
    - Launching & Running a business enterprise/ business
    venture.
    Before the Launching & Running a business enterprise,
    Entrepreneur thinks about possible loss and success of the
    business venture.
    Entrepreneurship is more than just a profit.
    IDEA = can solve a particular need that exist in the society.
    IDEA = Solution
    NEED = Problem
    FINANCIAL RISK = Invest
    You are considered as an Entrepreneur, Entrepreneur should
    been able to identify a need, and generated an IDEA that can be
    a solution to a problem which is the NEED, and take financial risk.
    Take the financial risk to pursue the business venture.
    4 relevance/importance of Entrepreneur:
    1. They create employment – when the Entrepreneur creates a
    business, he will need manpower to work for him and for him to
    launch a business.
    How does this help the society? Nabibigyan ng trabaho ang
    mga tao.
    How does this help the economy? Bumababa yung
    unemployment rate ng isang bansa.
    2. National Income – increasing income through taxes/ through
    business taxes.
    Saan galing ang Revenue? – sa taxes na binabayaran ng
    Entrepreneur.
    3. They create Social Change – they create something
    revolutionary.
    Revolutionary – game changer/ something new that can change
    people lives.
    4. Community Development – Entrepreneur helps people to
    create business.
    Bakit nagpapatayo ng negosyo?
    - To earn profits
    - To be rich
    - To be the own boss
    - To avoid commuting/staying home (ex.tindahan)
    - Can solve particular need
    - To solve problems in society/helping society
    - To build their own future
    Entrepreneurs are motivated beyond profit. They pursue a
    business venture not because for them to earn more and to earn
    profit alone, earning profit is just a buy product. The end point is
    the purpose that they identify before or upon starting a business
    venture.
    Entrepreneur vs. Businessman
    Entrepreneur Businessman
    The inventors, first creator of They make a business out of
    product unoriginal business or product
    idea. Unoriginal means, may
    nakaimbento, ginaya nila.
    Are more concerned in They make a business because
    changing the world. They have of profit.

    Risk takers Risk averse, they do everything
    to avoid risk.

    They see the world as Duty – They see the world as an

    Basic Qualities of Entrepreneurs:
     They are creative – creating solutions that can solve a
    problem.
    Creativity – you think someone’s idea and improve it to a
    higher level.
     Innovative – they can generate an idea that can solve an
    existing problem or they can think an existing idea and
    improve it to be more efficient. To improve the quality of life.
    They create something revolutionary.
