2. Assess the impact of globalization the political, social, cultural and economic life.

Discuss the
relevance of studying globalization and how it contributes to our greater understanding of the world.
Provide at least 2 concrete examples and elaborate them one by one.

- Globalization gives different opportunities for a country to evolve and be involved in the
different problems around the world. The impact of globalization in the political view is that it gives a
strong foundation or a good model for a country to have, to assert more of the countries capabilities in
handling issues and problems. Socially it gives a good expansion of what the people can do in different
ways, especially now using the internet that can drive globalization to a greater picture involving
different people from different countries, to the different agenda political or nonpolitical. Also impacts
the culture and economic life that a country has, a culture evolves with the new discovery that affects
other people in a good way. Lastly, in terms of economic life globalization affects significantly it involves
that involves ideas that result in a new program, adjustments, and adapting to a new world for the
betterment of the country. For me the relevance of studying globalization base on our class discussion it
enlightens me on how our world works, that is not just me that I'm concerned with, but it affects a
greater deal for the country that I'm living into, especially that now I'm a Pharmacy student and future
pharmacist that involves in public service of the country in a medical way. Yes, it is kind of a scary
because of the bigger picture but, it just means I'm great full for serving more people in the best way I
can especially now our world is continuously involving for our greater good, with that it gives me the
opportunity to do my role as a person in the best way I can for now and for the future that I'm working
on. But now as a normal student, globalization can help me more things that can help in my studies for
researches, a discovery that may affect my perspective as a person, and lastly as a grown woman and a
citizen that my choices now are very significant, especially that I'm allowed now allowed to vote, that
my knowledge will be expanded and consider different options before I vote for the candidate that fit
my standard because it is for my country and for myself.

One of the issues present nowadays is the calling for equality and anti-racism of the
black members of the society as they fight for
“Black Lives Matter”.

This slogan is a calling for all of us regardless of our color, race or ethnicity at one point of our
lives, WE ARE ALL THE SAME. We deserve to be treated with respect and integrity, EQUALLY. How can
we fight this battle? Simply, by accepting our similarities and differences without stepping on other’s life
and dignity. Above all, be RESPECTFUL, the fundamental attribute of a genuine person.
