Project Title :
Smart Traffic System
Supervisor :
Mr. Rahmot Ullah (Senior Lecturer, Department of EEE)
Mentor :
Mr. Kazi Wohiduzzaman (Assistant Professor & Head, Department
of EEE)
Abstract :
Our main goal is to identify vehicles with long range RFID tag. Also
identify emergency vehicles like Ambulance, School bus etc. and
trigger traffic signal with the help of micro controller. Also we will
use a GPS and WIFI module for sending information to security
office. If RFID failed to recognise vehicles, we will use and backup
induction loop or a IR sensor to count cars which will also help us
to control traffic signal with the help of microcontroller.
Equipment :
Arduino
RFID Transmitter
RFID Tag
Traffic Light
IR Sensor

Prepaid Energy Meter using GSM and Arduino
Supervisor :
Mr. Rahmot Ullah (Senior Lecturer, Department of EEE)
Mentor :
Mr. Kazi Wohiduzzaman (Assistant Professor & Head, Department of
EEE)
Abstract:
Prepaid Electricity Energy Meter is a good concept in which we can recharge its balance, like
we do in our mobile phones. In this project we are building a automated system by using Arduino
and GSM module. We can recharge the electricity balance through this system, just by sending a
SMS. It can also disconnect the home power supply connection, if there is low or zero balance in
the system. And this system will reads the energy meter readings and automatically send some
updates to user’s mobile phone like low balance alert, cut off alert, resume alert and recharge alert.
Equipment :
Arduino
GSM Module
16x2 LCD
Analogue Electricity Energy Meter
Optocoupler 4n35
Resistors
POT
Connecting wires
Bulb and holder
SIM card
Power supply
Mobile Phone

Abstract :
This project deals with wireless power transmission technology.
A battery of an electronic device will be charged wirelessly. The
solar panel converts the sun light into electrical energy. Power
from a solar panel is sent through a transmitter circuit and
received by a receiver circuit wirelessly based on Faraday's law
of induction. There are a transmitter and receiver coil. The
transmitter coil is driven at the same frequency of the resonant
frequency of the receiver coil. With the help of wireless battery
charger technology, power can be supplied to the electric cars,
drones, hospital's equipment, and smartphones. This device
also helps to reduce the necessity of using wires.
Equipment :
Solar Panel 12 Volt, 300 ma, 1watt
Chargeable Battery 12 Volt, 1.5Ah
Capacitor, C: 6.8 nF
Radio Frequency Chock, L1: 8.6 micro Hz
Radio Frequency Chock, L2: 8.6 micro Hz

Mr. Kazi Wohiduzzaman (Assistant Professor & Head, Department of
EEE)
Abstract:
This project presents the overall design of Home Automation System
(HAS) with low cost and wireless system. This system is designed
to assist and provide support in order to full fill the needs of elderly
and disabled in home. Also, the smart home concept in the system
improves the standard living at home. The switch mode and voice
mode are used to control the home appliances. The video feedback is
received in the android application which streams the video of IP-
Camera. The main control system implements wireless technology
to provide remote access from smart phone.
