Tech Tips Safety Rules

Danger
Failure to obey the instructions and safety rules in
the appropriate Operator's Manual and Service
Manual for your machine will result in death or
serious injury. Many of the hazards identified in
the operator’s manual are also safety hazards
when maintenance and repair procedures are
performed.

Do Not Perform Maintenance Unless:


¾ You are trained and qualified to perform
maintenance on this machine.
¾ You read, understand and obey:
o manufacturer’s instructions and safety
rules
o employer’s safety rules and worksite
regulations
o applicable governmental regulations
¾ You have the appropriate tools, lifting
equipment and a suitable workshop.

The information contained in this tech tip is a


supplement to the service manual. Consult the
appropriate service manual of your machine for
safety rules and hazards.

Step 1

Step 3

Open the fuse panel located under the dash.

Step 4

Once the fuse panel cover is removed, locate the 40 amp self
resetting breaker. (The relay with 2 posts)

With the key in the on position, you should have power on the
single 8 gauge red wire of the 40 amp breaker. (bat post)

With the key in the on position, you should also have power on
the 8 gauge red and the 8 gauge yellow wire. (aux post)

Note: If you have power on the single 8 gauge red wire (bat)
and nothing on the 8 gauge yellow and red wires (aux) replace
the defective 40 amp breaker. Part # 123135
