GDS SaT professionals work as an extended team to global SaT practices. They deliver insights,
analytics and advice to our clients on strategies to raise, invest, preserve and optimize their capital.

Within GDS SaT, our Pursuits team provides pre-deal and origination research support, including
deal origination meeting decks, capital agenda info packs, value creation opportunity packs,
divestiture opportunity decks, thought leadership packs and idea generation support. The Pursuits
team works closely in tandem with global counterpart teams in delivering exceptional client service.
Pursuits team in GDS SaT has 150+ professionals supporting deal origination engagements across the
globe.
Responsibilities
• Support SaT professionals and EY clients with insights for Sectors and companies (public and
private) to drive M&A and transactions by performing qualitative and quantitative research
• Understand, analyze, and assess information from external and internal (EY) sources,
including financial statements and KPI analysis; deep knowledge of financial ratios and
metrics and strategy frameworks which can be leveraged to provide insights to senior
executives/Partners
• Contribute in SaT thought capitals and white papers
• Perform quality review of projects, guiding the team in execution and help them bring out
analysis and critical insights
• Undertake quality check (both qualitative and quantitative) to ensure:
• Output is insightful and as per expectation of onsite teams
• Delivering within agreed timelines
• Measure, monitor and improve client service by guiding team members and driving
excellence in service delivery
• Manage a team of 2-4 professionals
• Identify and communicate training needs of his/her team members and impart training as
per the program designed for the managers and L&D team
• Use current technology and analytical tools to enhance the effectiveness of services
provided
Job requirements
• MBA degree from a premier institute with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience
• Experience working in following organization or areas will be preferred:
• Big 4’s and Management Consultancy firms
• India captive centres of global investment banks and financial institutions
• Large Indian corporates with exposure in analytics, financial modelling and corporate
finance role
• Affinity for one or more of the following sectors: Consumer products & Retail, Life
Sciences, Healthcare, Industrials, TMT and Energy will be added advantage
• Expert knowledge of research databases such as Capital IQ, Thomson, Factiva, Merger
Market etc.
• Knowledge of tools such as PowerBI, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, VBA, R, SPSS is added
advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience in developing presentations
