our subject in second semester. Little Baguio National High School situated in
Little Baguio San Fernando Bukidnon in February 2020

Adviser: Mr. Ariel L. Amahoy.

This study was conducted in Little Baguio National High School. There
were 40 respondents of this study. The research instrument was adopted and
modified to suit the research objectives. This descriptive quantitative-
qualitative study determined the factors affecting student’s interest in glee
clubs, the students level of interest in glee clubs, and the relationship with
talents and skills towards their academic performance.

The findings revealed that among the factors affecting student’s

interest in glee clubs. Academic and personal factors are confirmed to be
uncertain as factors affecting their interest. This implies that they may or may
not influence the student’s interest in glee clubs. While Family and Peer
factors are agreed to have influence on the student’s interest in glee club.

The level of interest of students towards glee clubs revealed that the
students are highly interested. This indicated that the student’s interests in
clubs are High.

The relationship between talents and skills towards the student’s

academic performance revealed that there are no relationship between talent
and skills and academic performance. This implies that talents and skills
cannot affect the student’s academic performance and that grades are not a
good indicator to determine if the students are talented or skilled. This shows
that the null hypothesis accepted.
