TAREA DE LA SEMANA 28 Sept 2020

1- Answer the following question:

What are some potions, teas, and concoctions your parents or grandparents made you
drink when you were sick when you were a child?

(I MADE THESE PRAYERS WITH THE HELP OF THE DICTIONARY AND THE
TRANSLATOR, BUT I DID IT FIRST HERE AND THEN I CORRECTED THEM.)

I really was very sick as a child, that's why some remedies of which they gave me were
very disgusting and unnecessary, like roasted snake with coconut oil (this coconut already
lasted twenty days under the land), coffee with oil(I know what this oil was), bean with alcohol,
limoncello tea, among other things.

It is worth to consider that a woman did witchcraft with me (I was extremely sick with asthma)

My family is very superstitious. END

• Olive oil or butter, to taste
• Salt, to taste

HOW TO MAKE COUSCOUS

1. To start, bring the cooking liquid (preferably a flavorful chicken or vegetable broth) to a boil in a
medium pot. Add a drizzle of olive oil, a pad of butter, and a little salt.
2. Next, add the couscous. (I use 1-3/4 cups liquid to 1-1/2 cups couscous.)
3. Take the pan off the heat, cover, and let the couscous steam for 5 minutes.
4. When you lift the lid, the grains will appear flat in an even layer. Use a fork to fluff it up and break
up the clumps for light and fluffy couscous. For a traditional Moroccan feast, try pairing this
couscous with my Moroccan chicken tagine.
