    Career Summary
    My interest in working with animals began when we adopted our first dog in 2004. Since then, we have
    gotten three more dogs, and I have helped raise each of them. I also ride horses and volunteer at Big Oak
    Stables in Indian Trail, North Carolina, therefore I am comfortable around animals of all sizes. Since I
    was 16, I have worked in retail, developing customer service skills. Through university jobs, I have been
    obtaining leadership, computer, and public speaking skills. Ultimately, I hope to receive my Veterinary
    Technician Certification and undergo professional training to be an Equine Vet Tech.
