Proposed Ammonia Recovery System

1. Vapors are collected from Blow down Tank vent, T&T Valve low pressure leak offs &
Drain Pot II
2. Drain pot II vapor line will be normally closed unless until there will be a problem in the
steam traps.
3. Collected vapors will be cooled down to 40 °C by water circulated heat exchanger.
4. Cooled vapors are compressed up to 2-3 bars by Ammonia Vapor Compressor.
5. Compressed vapors then enter into HE-4 inlet (Existing blinded Nozzle (N-3) of HE-4)
having approximately Avg. temperature 100 °C and pressure in the range of 0.8 to 2 bar.
6. In He-4 vapors will condense with the working fluid and transfer into LP Hotwell.
