2.4819 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with excellent corrosion resistance, especially to pitting, crevice, and tensile corrosion. It has good mechanical properties and heat resistance up to around 900°C.

2.4819 alloy is mainly used in the petrochemical and chemical industries for applications involving hot, contaminated mineral acids, seawater, and chloride-containing organic processes.

Common product forms of 2.4819 alloy include plates, sheets, pipes, tubes, bar stock, fittings, flanges, and welded or seamless elbows, tees, and reductions.

Description 2.4819 is a nickel chrome molybdenum alloy with wolfram addition and extremely low C and Si content.
It's resistance to corrosion is excellent even in application areas with corrosive media and under oxidising/reducing
conditions, e.g. concentrated solutions of oxidising salts (FeIII / CuCl), wet chlorine and chloride solutions.
