CV. Dunia Isolasi Refractory

This document provides information on castable refractories and insulating castables sold by Dunia Isolasi. Castables are refractory concrete that hardens to a jointless and strong monolithic structure. Properties including maximum service temperature, density, shrinkage and crushing strength are provided for several castable types (C-12 to C-18) with alumina compositions ranging from 50-85%. A high alumina castable C-18O with 89% alumina and its properties are also described. Insulating castables IC-12, IC-14 and IC-16 ranging from 1200-1450°C service are similarly characterized with their densities, shrinkage, strengths and thermal conductivities.

Castable

Castable refractories are composed principally of refractories aggregates and hydraulic-setting cement.
They are furnished in dry form, bagged and ready for mixing with water on the job and subsequent
pouring or casting into place like conventional cement concrete. After 24 hours curing, it hardens to strong
a
joint less monolithic refractory construction. Because its distinct advantages, applications of castable have
greatly increased in recent years.
