This course develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills through qualitative research.
V. SCOPE

QUARTER 1 WEEK 5-6

Topic STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM AND RESEARCH TITLE


Topic Opener Prayer is essential in starting your day.
Matthew 5:5 “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you”.
Objectives The learner:
1. designs a research project related to daily life
2. writes a research title
3. describes the justifications/reasons for conducting the research
4. states research questions
5. presents written statement of the problem
Values and Faith “Every problem has its own solution”
Integration JAMES 1:5 “But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without
reproach, and it will be given to him.”
Suggested  Read and study about writing a research title and identifying research problems.
Activities
 Watch the Zoom recordings and attend to the teacher video conference for feedbacks and lecture.
 Group leaders and assistant leaders and needed members must attend the scheduled video conference
on time for specific instructions and follow-ups.
 Start meeting your groupmates and plan for the research title the group wants to study.

Evaluation Activity 3A: (Per member)
Write a research title and research question you want to propose to your group as focus of your study. Then,
justify your reasons for conducting the research. Send this to your teacher via messenger then send it your
leader for group discussion for your final research title.

Activity 3B: (Per Group)


Finalized the research questions and research title by the end of week 5 then make time to validate it through
some research teachers assigned to your group. Submit this at the end of week 6
Parent/Guardian' Using a rubric, the parent/guardian rate the student's performance in the activities and the paragraph written.
s Assessment Rubric:
20 pts- work on the activities independently and diligently
15 pts- work on the activities with little help and diligently
10 pts- work on the activities with difficulty but trying his/her best
5 pts- work on the activities with much difficulty and help.

PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND

3. indicates scope and delimitation of research
4. cites benefits and beneficiaries of research

Integration “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your
requests be made known to God.
Suggested  Read and study about the techniques and content of chapter one in research.
Activities
 Watch the Zoom recordings and attend to the teacher video conference for feedbacks.
 Group leaders and assistant leaders and needed members must attend the scheduled video conference
on time for specific instructions and follow-ups.
 Attend groupings, make sure to be included in the Group chats of your group.
