My career in education has given me the opportunity to become highly 
effective in areas such as lesson design, project based learning, team-building, 
conflict management, flexibility, creative problem-solving, data analysis, virtual 
instruction, time management, decision-making, organization, and leadership.

Decatur School District, Decatur, AR​ - Educator 
July 2016 - PRESENT 
● 2018-2021 Jr.High/High School Special Education Teacher  
- Managing caseload of 26 students (writing IEPS, scheduling and 
hosting meetings with guardians, analyzing goal progress, planning 
and delivery of lessons for multiple subjects, grade and ability levels). 
● 2016-2018 7th Grade Language Arts and Social Studies 
- Planned engaging lessons that combined literacy and social studies, 
developed activities promoting collaboration, teamwork, self-efficacy, 
and community support. Participated in bi-weekly PLC meetings and 
worked with a highly-effective team of educators.
