    How to upgrade the software and hardware

    --ECO3EXPERT
    如何升级ECO3EXPERT的软硬件

    CHISON ULTRASOUND
    Note:

    1. Below presentation is an example for system upgrade.

    2. The system interface will be different because of the differnt software version. If
    the current interface has any difference with below presentation. Don't be confused.

    3. Never unplug the flash disk during the upgrade process, and avoid any power
    failures. it will make system crash.

    CHISON ULTRASOUND
    STEP1. Please contact with CHISON Service Dept. get the latest
    upgrade package. The package is different with each unit, please provide the
    serial no.(SN) when you ask for the files. It includes two files: fpga_update.rar
    and update_ECO-(serial no.).zip.

    SPTE2. Unzip the files, we recommed “ WinRAR ” software tool to unzip. You
    will get two folders as below, update and fpga_update, copy them to the root
    directory of flash disk.

    Possible causing for upgrade failure:

     The upgrade files could be damaged during download or unzip


    procedure, it may cause the upgrade failure. You may try with
    different software tool to download or unzip.

     Regarding to the volume of flash disk , too small or too big


    volume is not easy for system to recognize. Sometimes you have
    to restart the main unit to make flash disk to be recoginzed.

    STEP3. Confirm when you open the folder update and fpga, there should be
    sub files in the folder.

    Note: Confirm there should be uncovered sub files in the 'update' or
    'fpga' folder.

    STEP4. Connect the flash disk with the USB port on side panel.

    Note: Make sure the flash disk is a good one, FAT32 format. Please try with
    different one if there has upgrade failure.

    STEP5. Press key on the keyboard, enter into Setup interface. Select
    “System” item. You will see Software version 、Hardware version and
    Update items.

    STEP6.Click the “Update” item of software firstly and confirm “Update” , the
    system will upgrade the software automatically.

    CHISON ULTRASOUND
    STEP7. The first picture is the upgrade process, the second figure represents
    the upgrade completed. After this , you should restart the machine manually.

    Note: The whole upgrade is not finished after software upgrade. It has
    to upgrade the FPGA to match with the software if necessary.

    STEP8. Manully boot the machine, and you will see the following tips.

    STEP9. Click the “Update” secondly for Hardware version.

    STEP10. Desktop will appear an upgrade prompt box , clicking “Update”.
    Waiting for a few minutes, it will prompt you: upgrade has been completed,
    manually restart .You should restart it handful.

    STEP11. Manully boot the machine, and you will see that the software version
    is the latest one.

    Solution for upgrade failure:
    1) .Pls confirm the U disk is a good one, or you may try with another U
    disk.
    2).The volume for U disk (2GB is the best), too small or too big
    volume is not easy for machine to recognize.
    3) .Please confirm there will be subfiles once you open the upgrade
    folder or fpga folder.
    4).The upgrade package is damaged during the downloading or
    unzip, you can try to download and unzip again.
    5). Please confirm the USB disk is found.
