    Is the correct Bundle Puller being used in good condition?

    Is the barricading of such nature that it stops unauthorized entry?

    Is the rigging fit for purpose and recently inspected?
    Is certification available for crane, sling and rigging?
    Is there any evidence of leakage (oil, hydraulic) under or around the crane?
    Is crane on a firm/stable surface and level?

    Is reversing horn fitted and in good working condition?

    Is all lifting gear inspected, certified and color coded?


    Lifting Operation
    Is the area for lifting load & the lifting route clear of obstructions and personnel?
    Is the area for landing the load clear, strong enough, properly prepared & is there
    any risk of the load becoming unstable after landing?
    Is there safe access & egress to attach and recover lift rigging?
    Adequate tail (counterweight/winch) swing clearance?
    Are required number of tag lines used to control loads being lifted?
    Traveling

    Crane are available, are they used when approaching workmen, blind

    Is the (lattice) boom as low as safely practicable?
