Our Lady of Fatima Parish is located in Heritage Homes, Loma de Gato, Marilao Bulacan. Rev. Fr. Gil Cajurao is the parish priest and the patron saint is Our Lady of Fatima celebrated every May 13th. The student assisted with administrative work such as receiving payments, giving registration forms and receipts to those scheduling baptisms and weddings. The student helped the parish secretary with various tasks and found the work rewarding as she was able to help people and gain experience overcoming shyness through conversations with parish members.

Kami ang mananampalataya ng parokya ng Mahal na Birheng Maria na
naglalayong bumuo ng isang pamayanan na naka-ugat sa malalim na relasyon sa
Diyos. Binibigkis ng paggalang, pagkakaisa at pagmamahalan ayon sa aral ng
mabuting balita, nakasentro sa banal na Eukaristiya, sa tulong at panalangin ng
Mahal na Birheng Maria tungo sa ganap na pagpapanibago bilang Sambayanan ng
Diyos.

Mission:
Bilang sambayanan ng Diyos, sa patnubay ng Banal na Espiritu Santo ay
itinatalga naming an gaming mga sarili sa:

1. Pagpapalaganap at pagsasabuhay ng mga aral ng mabuting balita


2. pagpapalalim ng pangunawa sa kahalagahan ng mga sakramento
3. Pagpapatatag ng ugnayan ng bawat miyembro ng pamilya
4. Paghubog sa mga kabataan upang mapukaw ang kanilang kamalayan at
malinang ang kanilang kakayahan
5. Pagtataguyod ng maliliit na Sambayanang Kristiyano sa pamamagitan ng
sama-samang panalangin at gawaing pangsimbahan
6. Pagtulong sa mga mahihirap at mga nagangailangan

Parish: Our Lady of Fatima Parish Activity: Administrative work

I. NARRATIVE (Activity/Work of the day)

This is my fourth day of parish exposure and service in our church. I was assigned
to assist those people who will be going to have their schedules and payments for
baptism and weddings. The activity for the day was like a clearical work. I receive
payments, give them registration forms and receipts. I was also assisting the parish
secretary since she’s all alone doing that kind of job. I was had also helped her to
look for documents that are needed to give to those who needs it.

II. REFLECTION

My reflection towards my work and activity for the day was that, it is very heart
warming to simply give them help in what they need. Just like what I realized in my
past services here in the church, I am grateful to offer assistance and guide what
they need to do in order to complete a form or to satisfy their questions regarding
specific matters. But in this day, it was a bit different. I learned how to avoid
shyness towards people I don’t know. When there was no one coming in, sisters in
the parish offered me conversations for me not to be bored. I felt belong and happy
because they are helping me to feel at home with them. Parish priest was also there
making jokes towards us. I had knew that not all parish priest are quiet and snob
because they are showing it through their faces. But once we had a talk with them,
we could see their true self, that they are worth becoming the messenger of God and
His good words.
