     This is one of the most valuable lines everyone learned during the Joint BSP-GSP
    Encampment held at Matanao Central Elementary School last November 24-26, 2018. It was a
    three-day camping activity participated by different scouters of the Matanao 1 District. Catalino
    G. Tampipi  Elementary School actively joined the said activity.The standing of tents and the
    building of camp gates happened on the first day. This was followed by a torch parade of
    different schools in the district . Afterwards, the program started with a prayer and the
    recitation of the Scout’s Oath and Law. The District Supervisor, Mrs. Susan M. Obenza gave her
    inspiring message and officially opened the encampment activity. The scouters took a break for
    a while as they enjoyed their dinner. Then, they headed back to the stage to show their most
    prized talents. Everyone prepared on the next day for the games. Catalino G. Tampipi
    Elementary School Scouters, Kawan and Kid Scouts participated in the games. On the last day
    of the encampment, the awarding ceremony and closing program took place with Sir Zasim
    Pinzon giving certificates to the winners. It was a meaningful experience for everyone who
    participated in the activity. Truly, it embodied the theme of nurturing nature through camping.
