Describe the evolution of marketing research. How the role of marketing


research changed as the field has has evolved? How is social media changing
marketing research?

ANSWER:

Marketing research is first done in1895 or 1896 by sending questions through


telegrams to advertising agencies. Than in 1930, some ladies in white gloves asked
people about cake mixes. The methodology was door-to-door surveys. Later than
the Second World War, researcher acknowledged psychological side of the
marketing research and in 1950s to 1960s televisions became the greatest source of
advertising and important area of marketing research. In the 1960s and 1970s
marketing researchers began to work more with their clients on how to use new
ideas to make decisions. As the time move forward, day by day, marketing
research becomes popular as well as an important part of the decision-making
process. After 2009 the industry is looking for creative methods to conduct
marketing research using telephone interviews, mall intercept, web interviews,
mobile phone surveys and multimode methods.

approach, research design, data collection and analysis, and report preparation and

Answer :

In view of Burke marketing research process they always try to find out the

that we always face.

Answer :

If Burke offers me position of account executive with the responsibility of


providing me in a marketing research service to P&G I definitely accept this job
offer as a being position of account executive .As everyone know it P&G is very
prestigious brand and worldwide renewed brand .As being part of this company I
learn a lot of staff through my fellows collages and other employees .In doing
finance and accounting major subject I am capable of this position to judge myself
better for this.
