Thanks to Alpha you no longer have to pay as much for your carbon/sulfur determinator as you
did for your home. The CS-800 is affordably priced and comes with many desirable features
as standard equipment.

The CS-800 by ELTRA provides the speed and accuracy required for today’s stringent demands.
Both the furnace and electronic systems are contained in one space saving cabinet. Carbon and
sulfur are simultaneously determined in about 50 seconds. The unit comes complete with an
interfaced 4th place balance (0.0001 gm) resolution with a 100 gm capacity. This can yield greater
accuracy with automatic weight entry as another standard feature.

The unit employs a high powered induction furnace (High Frequency) for rapid, complete sample
combustion. A 16 bit microprocessor controls the entire process along with 3 channel solid
state I.R. detectors which deliver a signal resolution of 0.1 ppm. Four built in calibration curves
are available and the instrument automatically switches from low to high carbon ranges when
required for the sample analysis.

The CS-800 is easy to operate. The analysis is simply initiated by introducing the crucible con-
taining the weighed sample and accelerator onto the pedestal. A touch of a switch pneumatically
inserts the specimen into the high powered induction furnace and the analysis is completed in CAN’T FIND THE SPARE PART YOU NEED
