This document provides an overview of an undergraduate course on Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). The course aims to teach students about the importance and components of PLCs, how to convert digital circuits into PLC programs, and how to program PLCs for specific applications. The course covers PLC basics, logic circuits, PLC registers, timer and counter functions, arithmetic functions, and data handling functions. Students will learn how to program PLCs using ladder diagrams and apply these skills to industrial processes and systems.
