General safety guidelines inside the plant
ƒ Do not enter into demarcated area without Safety spectacles shoes and
safety helmet
ƒ Do not use Mobile phones cameras in process area
ƒ You will be provided safety shoes helmet and safety glass before enter into
PPE dedicated area
ƒ You should wear additional PPE other than mandatory PPE where local sign
posts are displayed
ƒ Take reasonable care for safety and health on yourself and others in your
surroundings who may be affected by your action
ƒ Don’t enter into the demarcated area under influence of alcohol or illegal
drugs
ƒ Don’t smoke in process areas

Safety guide for Visitors

ƒ You will be directed by HLL officer during your visits


ƒ Visitors should follow all directions instructions given by the HLL officer
ƒ You should park your vehicle in visitor car park
ƒ Maximum speed inside HLL premises is 16KMPH
ƒ Driving Vehicles inside the demarcation area without authorization is completely
prohibited
ƒ Don’t enter any work areas unless accompanied by HLL officer
ƒ Don’t pass any work areas with the demarcation tapes or barricades
ƒ Put rubbish and unwanted things into trash bins provided accordingly
ƒ Don’t touch any instrument or machine parts etc
ƒ There are three ASSEMBLY POINTS are inside the plat
In case of emergency HHL officer will guide you to proceed to nearest assembly
point

Holcim Cardinal Rules

1.Do not override or interfere with any safety provision, nor


allow anyone else to override or interfere with them,
regardless of their relative seniority to yourself

2.Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) rules, applicable to


a given task,must be adhered to at all times.

3.Isolation and Lock Out Procedures must always be


followed.
4. No person may work if under the influence of alcohol or
drugs.
5.All injuries & incidents must be reported
