Komatsu Model PC200-8 excavator error code

We believe that all the drivers will encounter the failure of the excavator. For these problems,
the monitor of the excavator will display some error codes. If you don't understand the
meaning of these error codes, we can only rely on our maintenance technician to troubleshoot
and detect the cause of the failure.

However, our maintenance technicians are not following us all the time on the construction
site, so if we encounter problems, we can't solve them in time, which will affect our work
efficiency. Even a professional maintenance technician may not be able to find the cause of
the fault completely, so it is important to understand the meaning of the error code. This
article will introduce the main error codes of the Komatsu PC200-8 excavator. Details are as
follows:

Model PC200-8 user code:

E02 PC-the EPC system;


E03, Swing parking brake system;
E10, the engine controller power failure, the engine control drive system circuit malfunction
(this engine stall;
E11, the engine control system failure (decrease of output power, in order to protect the
engine);
E14, the feedback system abnormalities;
E15, engine sensors (temperature, fuel pressure, oil pressure) fault;
EOE, a network failure.
The fault code: the 989L00 the engine controller lock warning (mode 1).
989M00, the engine controller to lock warning (mode 2).
989N00, the engine controller to lock warning (mode 3).
AA10NX air filter clogging.
AB00KE charging voltage is too low.
B @ BAZG, low oil pressure.
B @ BAZK, the oil level is too low.

stopped.

E11, engine control system failure (reduction of output power, to protect the engine).

E14, feedback system abnormalities.

Monitor Panel PC200-7


Untuk pengguna Excavator Komatsu PC200-7,tentu sudah tidak asing lagi dengan error
code yang sering muncul di monitor panel unit tersebut,terutama jika pada bagian electrical
system-nya mengalami masalah.Awalnya di monitor panel hanya muncul " User Code " saja
( misal E02 atau E03 ),namun dari user code inilah mekanik bisa menelusuri kerusakan
yang sebenarnya sedang terjadi pada unit tersebut.

Namun kendala yang sering terjadi dilapangan adalah,tidak semua mekanik yang
menangani unit tersebut bisa dan mengerti bagaimana cara memunculkan petunjuk
selanjutnya ( dalam hal ini adalah cara memunculkan " Service Code " ).Walaupun kadang
si mekanik sudah dilengkapi dengan Shop Manual,namun karena ada kendala dengan
Bahasa ( umumnya Shop Manual masih dalam bahasa Inggris ) kadang tetap saja tidak si
mekanik tidak bisa memunculkan service code-nya.Akhirnya saat melakukan
troubleshooting dilapangan,lebih banyak dengan cara menebak-nebak atau main tembak
langsung saja.Padahal jika si Mekanik tahu cara memunculkan Service Code tersebut,maka
mekanik akan lebih mudah melakukan perbaikan,karena dengan service code yang muncul
tadi,si mekanik sudah diberikan guidance oleh factory mengenai cara penanganan problem
yang sedang terjadi.

Berikut ini sedikit saya jelaskan mengenai cara menggunakan Special Function di Monitor
Panel PC200-7 ataupun PC400LC-7 ,terutama yang menggunakan monitor panel tipe 7
Segment,yaitu :

Cara Menampilkan Kode Special Function :

1. Tekan buzzer cancel switch yang ada disamping kanan operator + auto decell
switch syang ada di monitor panel secara bersamaan selama 2,5 detik,maka monitor panel
akan langsung menampilkan special function code 01.
2. Tekan buzzer cancel switch + working mode selector ( UP ) switch / ( DOWN )
switch secara bersamaan untuk memeilih special function code yang diinginkan ( dari code
01-07 , 15-16 ).
3. Setelah special function yang diinginkan sudah dipilih,kemudian tekan setting
switch.
Dibawah ini adalah kode-kode special function :

01 = Service Mode

02 = Monitoring Mode

03 = Governor Motor Adjustment Mode ( G SET )

04 = Oil Maintenance Setting Mode

05 = Working Mode Default Setting Mode ( d SET )

06 = Attachment Setting Mode ( 1 SET )

07 = ( 2 SET )

15 = ( 15 SET )

16 = ( 16 SET )

Cara menampilkan special function code 01 ( Service Code Display ) :


1. Tekan buzzer cancel switch+auto decel switch secara bersamaan selama 2,5
detik,maka monitor panel akan langsung menampilkan special function code 01.
2. Setelah special function code 01 terpilih,kemudian tekan setting switch,maka
monitor panel akan langsung menampilkan error code ( service code ) berikut dengan jam
terjadinya error tersebut.Contoh E213 , 4h ( service code 213 muncul 4 jam yang lalu ).
3. Untuk menampilkan error code yang lain, tekan buzzer cancel switch + working
mode selector (UP) switch atau (DOWN) switch.
4. Untuk menghapus error code dari memory,tekan buzzer cancel switch dan
tahan,kemudian putar starting key ke posisi OFF,kemudian putar lagi starting key ke posisi
ON dengan tetap menekan buzzer cancel switch selama 5 detik.
5. Untuk mengembalikan ke normal display,tekan buzzer cancel switch +auto decel
switch selama 2,5 detik.
Catatan :
Jika jumlah error code yang tersimpan dalam memory lebih dari 20 error code ,maka error
code yang paling lama tersimpan akan dihapus dan digantikan oleh error code yang baru.

Dibawah ini adalah beberapa user code yang ada di monitor panel PC200-7 ( dan PC400LC-
7 ),biasanyacode dibawah ini akan muncul secara otomatis bila ada problem yang muncul
pada sistem electrical di unit.

User code diatas akan tampil secara otomatis apabila terjadi problem pada setiap system
diatas.
